I'm using Ad Managment 2.3.6 for SMF 2.0 RC2 I create a new ad, and for some reason it creates a duplicate of it and displays it twice. Deleting one of them deletes both.

Whats going on?

vbgamer45

Most likely the mod installed twice. Uninstall the mod then check your templates for any other duplicate ad management code.

I still have this old problem, that if I log out, then the board goes wider and font increases. When I stay logged in, then it's ok. The problem came after manual installation of the ad management mod to core theme. Maybe someone will find a bit time and can help me with this matter.

Doesn't anybody have a glue? Please, I need Your help. Quite desperate already. :-[

Yes that is a problem with the ad mod. I do believe, if I remember correctly that not all the edits were done to the index.php file. ??? (I think) It has been awhile since I heard of this error.

Hi!  I am sorry in advance if this question has already been answered somewhere in this thread... I tried to read through to find the answer, but either I missed it or no one else has had this problem...

I installed Ad Management to my forum, and it installed perfectly! However, I just tried adding the code for the google adsense ads, and they are not showing?  Does it take a while for it to show up or should it show up instantly?  My forum version is 2.0 RC2 and I am not using the default theme... I had a custom theme made.  The forum is www.GoatFarmCentral.com  Now I will admit that I am definitely NOT the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to ANY of this... so I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge.

Thank you for the reply!

I went in and checked that, and yes the ads are enabled for all membergroups???

vbgamer45

I see the issue you are using a custom theme which requires the edits that are made to the default theme to also be applied to your custom theme. Check out the modsite for details.

I see where people have asked to get the background color changed in the ads that appear in threads as posts.  But, I don't see where anyone shows where to change it.  Can someone just post where to change it?  I'd like to do the editing myself instead of making someone else do it for me.  I just want to have the background appear like the normal post background or board background.

BTW, is there a way to not have the QUOTE button (and other buttons) appear in those posts?

The code is added to themes/default/Display.template.php You can remove the buttons and change the class style type

Here is my config:

1 x ad at welcome user area
1 x ad at every page right below the menu, board index, the post page
1 x ad at the last post, on the bottom of the page, under child boards

vbgamer45

Ok hmm can you attach your themes/default/Display.template.php file?
