Just installed the ad management for my RC5 forum. I use photobucket to save a banner image. When people click how can I direct link to the url of the banner instead of link to photobucket album

NanoSector

AFAIK not possible with PhotoBucket.

I said "AFAIK".

But really, you don't use a **** service like that to upload images for ads...

my comment basically asked that same question....   photobucket is a good place to load a pic for posting in a thread on a site which you don't own.

However, if you own the site, why bother? you can dd the pic to your own site/server directly...   and photobucket will get upset if the pic is loaded on EVERY page load, like an advert is.

And what if your picture is removed by them? Gone, your ad.

I went in the admin panel to update an Ad and it doesn't show up in edit? I tried refreshing and used a different browser but the same thing? The Ad is still on the Forum and works. Also the last Ad that does show in edit is cut off. It should say Rotating Banner but only says Rotating B and there is not a modify to click on? I attached a screen shot.

Hi everybody I am having a problem with Admanagent301 for 1.1.13 with a crip theme called UnRelatived113. The mod works good except it does not show ads on the bottom or the left and right towers. The mod works on the standard theme but not on the new theme.

ad banner, post in a forum, it doesn't matter. people still do it all the time.

and when their image disappears, they'll figure it out.

its pretty simple.

custom themes require additional editing. in that theme theres a file called index.template.php that will need your attention if you want those ad placements to show.

Great mod :)

How do I put the "Display ads on every page right below the menu" to show a bit further upwards? (see picture)

/Jakob

sawz

it will always be below the menu, you can raise it up by placing a line break or 2 after the code.  these are line breaks:

Hi saws

If you see my picture, the ads is under breadcrumbs and not under the menu. I want it to be where the red arrow is.
