Simple black mini buttons

Question: How exactly do you install these?

I extracted the archive to /forum/Themes/simple-mini-black for ease of location, and updated the images folder dir in layout options of my board, but only three images actually show up. what am i doing wrong?

yeah, i just had to reinstall and restore my database because of an error. I'm about to reupload the images.

/edit:

Ok i've reuploaded them, and as a precaution of there being missing images, i copied all of the images from the default theme into the folder where i would upload these. Then, i uploaded them to overwrite the ones that were there, and now there are several images that do not show up, such as the new/no new posts image, status images shown under a person's name (im images, etc.) among other things missing.

That is because the black mini buttons are only the button set - that means they will only replace the "default/images/english" folder and the "default/images/upshrink(2).gif" files. All other images you must leave where they were...

You seem to have moved the "default/images" folder away instead of copied it. Your problem will be fixed when you upload the missing image files again.

i couldn't just use the copy command so i downloaded the folder and uploaded it in a different place

so basically all i need to do is save a copy of the old images and put these in their place and i should be fine?

Yes. Only overwrite the buttons (this is the folder "english") and the 2 upshrink icons by the black mini's.


P.S. If you plan to modify more than buttons only then it is strongly recommended to not modify the "default" theme but create an own theme and modify your own custom theme.

any chance of getting an arcade or games mini black button...i love these and was trying to use the blank gifs to make one but i can't figure out the type set used...any help..please

As indicated on the screenshot the font is 04b_08. This is a free font for which you find many download links if you search with google
