Maybe, the weird thing is that there isn't a news post when you access the admin panel, like "Latest news from simplemachines.org", so maybe it's a private upgrade only for this site.

SMF Beta 5 French Translation Pack: [in the Downloads]

Included the images.

French and Norwegian packed up and sent off to be placed on the downloads page.

French has the XML help files translated, as Norwegian does not.

If somebody could supply me the dutch files that have to be translated, it would be great.

Tomorrow I have enough time to translate, so the dutch files could be done by tomorrow evening.

True, but : there is a chance there are already more lines translated by others in the team, or there are lines added for a next release.

I mean, when I translate the files you say, will this then be up-to-date or am I then translating "old" files.... ? And what about the help-files ?

Generally speaking the Dutch, German and Spanish are kept up to date. There are CVS releases every day so any new strings would probably be added.

Saying that, I've never dealt with Dutch and German. They are translated internally, and I'm not efficient enough to have it constantly updated.

Well, beleive me, the files are not translated, there are a lot of things "not translated", so that's why I offer to help.

Allright, when there is nobody who can tell me what files exactly I have to translate, I won't be asking again.

Well, the portuguese translation is almost done. I'm currently translating the Help file.

I don't know if I have time (pacience) to translate the XML files right now.

Webby, in that case it would be best to coordinate with the person who translated the dutch files so far. I believe it is Compuart. I am quite sure he appreciates your help - but contact him first in order to avoid double work.

Edit: as bostasp already wrote below - check the 1st post and coordinate with the dutch language team.

You also might like to take a look at the first post and look at who is translating into Dutch and contact them.

I cannot release CVS English language packs to you.

Webby, if you just directly send me chunks of translated "Untranslated!" blocks, I can get them into the next release cleanly.  Yes, strings have been added and some existing ones have been changed.... but anything that is not translated here is not translated in the cvs.

I have translated already a lot, and will continue translating tomorrow.

Well, just giving me files won't help *all that much* because in the cvs I've already added entries.  If I replaced the files with yours, come next beta all the Dutch users would get "undefined index" errors all over the place because of missing strings, and some strings would still be antiquated with old text.

Sure, I could diff the file... but that would take more than just a few hours and I really don't have the time for that.
