I don't know anything about this computer language stuff.
But I can deer Hunt !! That doesnt help me much here.
Can I pay you to further modify this for my digital theme? I would like to have rotating ads. CJ ads are all static and I would love to rotate them. If you can contact me at [email protected] and give me some idea How I could get this done , I would be grateful.

hi,

i have a problem with this mod, i dont understand how this happened or if there is a setting for it.

the ads are onlly diplayed to members who are logged in. guests are not shown any ads, if any thing i would want this reversed but i cannot find any way to change this.

any ideas?

I was hoping to pay to just get the ad mod that I have tweeked.I like the freedom I have with this and It cost me money evertime I make a change or a mistake

Do you mean to make the ads rotate with the ad mod? No need to pay for everything. If you use the search system you will find the solution to this as it has been covered many times. Then try to make the edits yourself. Remember as long as you make a backup of the file/s prior to editing them, you should be fine.

I gave that a try however some of the edits to not match up so I'm wondering where I need to place the edits.  Also there is an edit to add something and it seems to already be there, so I'm not sure if I still need to add it.

That's why I'm a bit confuse and would love it if someone could walk me through this so I don't screw anything up

Yea, lol.. of course, if it did match up the files would not have failed the test, where the parser says FIND, select only some of the code and find it, if a search of the partial code only finds one result then its safe to say that's the right place to edit

Hi johncccccc,  I understand that as I went through all four files that were edited in the default theme and looked at them in the Mesh theme.

The files I need to tweak for the Mesh theme are:

BoardIndex.template.php
Display.template.php
MessageIndex.template.php
index.template.php

Now I think I was able to make all the modifications to the following files successfully:

BoardIndex.template.php
MessageIndex.template.php

First question -- For Display.template.php

It says to add this code after a particular line.  However, this code already shows below the line.  So my question is, do I still need to add it?

Running the Mesh Theme.

For the display.template.php, if the code is already there don't add it.

as for index.template.php, its because your theme is not based off of the default theme, thus the find code does not exist and we cant know where to edit, however, if you provide a link to your forum, I can try to see where that code would go on your theme

ok I suspect, that you would add the code before the following line

   echo '
                        <span class="smalltext">', theme_copyright(), ' <br />

Im not 100% experienced with coding, but I know thats where the copyright info is displayed.
After making a backup, make those changes and be sure to add an ad to display at the bottom of all pages in ad management admin page for test, then ad that code above that line, if it does not work, replace backup and report back
