Excellent!

Good work!

Once I upgrade to RC1 from Beta 5, and for some reason, I want to go back to Beta 5, will I be able to?

Thanks!

David

I just attached changelogs, one from beta 5 public to beta 6, and one from beta 6 to RC 1.

Not that I'm aware of, but what is the reason you want to "downgrade"

Mysterio

Just incase something screws up my forum, like if there's too many bugs(Which I highly doubt), but still a little paranoid anyways.

Then if I really wanted to, I could just simply go back to the previous version which is Beta 5, which should clear everything up.

Just being cautious I guess.

hehe... that I will do.

Actually, I already made backups.

I'm going to go ahead and see what happens. I'm sure everything will be fine. All I'm really worried about is if my forum's default theme(Chat Bubbles) will work with the new release.

The upgrade did not work for my forum.

I was using beta 5 and I downloaded the upgrade to the RC1. After upgrade.php did it's stuff I get this error:

Table 'myforumname.smf_sessions' doesn't exist.

Also, my forum was upgraded to beta 5 from phpbb 2.0.8.

Any ideas what I can do to fix it?

Thanks.

Please try running upgrade again... make sure it completes successfully.

I double checked the upgrade output and everything went successfully the first time. However I have run it a second time and it seemed to fix the problem. The only thing I did differently was the first time I had all three boxes checked. The second time I only had the maintenance mode box checked.

Thanks.

When I try to convert my phpBB forum to this next version of Simple Machines (Congratulations for the next version), I have a problem in the messages conversion:
Quote(this may take some time)
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 4194304 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2918 bytes) in /home/webcindario/ptoinformativo/********/phpbb2_to_smf.php on line 697
What's the problem? When I tried to convert my phpbb to SMFb5 (the last public version) all work good, but the
something
don't work and my phpbb forum have a lot of quotes...
Please, help me.

Hi,

I've just updated from BETA 5 to RC1. It worked great at first but after a while of using it I now only have a blank page. Do you know whats causing this?

Have a look here.

Thanks,
Josh.

Do NOT use Smart Ftp. It misses ALOT of files, inorder for the upgrader to work you will need to reupload 5 times for it to fully upload all the files.
