Nope. Nothing. Nada. Zilch

Bigguy

I see this at the bottom of your forum and one banner:

TESTING ONE TWO THREE

Do you have permissions set for each membergroup ???

lakelady

sheesh I'm an idiot! Adblock in Firefox was preventing me from seeing them! Now that I know they're there time to tweak the settings a bit (with my site whitelisted :P   )

Thank you!

FYI everyone. There is a version of the mod out for SMF 2.0 beta 3 Public.

What changes or improvements does this version have?  :-\

My mods:

Bigguy

None; it's just updated to work. I did hear a rumour that there was more improvements on the way but don't quote me on that.

Bigguy

Do you have a language folder in your custom theme folder. ??? If not create one and copy the modifications.english.php file from the default language folder into it. See if that helps. :)

Bigguy

Is your language set to utf8 is it. ??? Your going to need to get this file out of the mod package:

Ads.english.php

and rename it to:

Ads.english-utf8.php

and put it in your language folder of your custom theme.

robbieruckus

does anyone have a moment to look over my files and see whats wrong?

i've been trying to get this to work for weeks now.  you can download the files from my previous post on page 117.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bigguy

On that page there are no files from you but you say you are having a parse error with the index.template.php.Can you upload that file.

Bigguy

Try this robbieruckus:

BACK UP THE ORIGINAL FIRST

Bigguy

Go into the admin control panel and then to ad management. Then click on add ads. Put a name in for that ad unit and then the code in the next box and pick where you want the code to display. Chances are you won't have to touch the "Type"

Bigguy

Switch back and see if they show. What theme are you using. ???

Bigguy

Please post in the each of the mod authors threads to get help with all those other mods. As for the ad mod, what template files are in that theme folder. ??? Did the ad mod install without errors. ??? make sure the Ads.english.php file is in the language folder of the default theme. If you are using english-utf8 language either go into the server setting in the admin panel and change the language to plain english or rename the file Ads.english.php to Ads.english-utf8.php.

Bigguy

Not:

Ads.english-utf.php

Its

Ads.english-utf8.php

I meant the template files in your custom theme folder.  :P

Bigguy

index.template.php
messageindex.template.php
Display.template.php
boardindex.template.php

Are any of these files in the folder of the theme you are using now.
