You're using an old version.
That code didn't work all the time.

The version released just after yours (and it's been like that since then) uses the [smg] tag which is simpler and more reliable.

I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Done, now if someone right clicks and trys to stick the url in img code it still wont work correct? How would i img code it to this forum, smg will only work on my forum correct?

Nao 尚

Just delete the MGalleryItem.php file from your root folder and no one will be able to use it ;)
[smg] only works on your forum.

Deleting this will allow img coding of urls to offsite?

Minare

Hi

Thank you for this great mod.

Maybe my question will be too classic but I couldn't manage it.

Is there any way to show the recent or random added images on my main forum page ?

I mean In this page for example, there are recently added elements, I want this section to be seen on the main page.

Possible ?

If you want to enable other sites to link your images, then keep that file and tell them to use it.
Regarding your server error with the MGalleryItem.php file use, make sure it is correctly chmodded.

@Minare> you have to add this manually. We're not supporting this for now but it's easily done with the getMediaItems() function. Just look into smf-media.com for some examples.

I just added SMG to my hxxp:www.lethaldosageguild.com/forum [nonactive].  The gallery appears to function fine, but I cannot get the BBC code to work in my forums.  I've tried it with both my site's theme and the default.  I don't know if there is a conflict with Simple Portal or not. The only error in the log is the Utf8 language error. If anyone can help, much appreciated.

Modify that file manually.

Almost done with the Danish translation. Where and how do you want it?

Mai Pen Rai

Is there any way to import all attached pictures from the forum itself to the gallery?
Mai Pen Rai - means "No worries" in Thai

@IQgeek - No, not ATM.

@akhyne, if you wish I can add you to the translation group in http://smf-media.com, otherwise you can e-mail me at my e-mail address in the profile here.

hello,

i hope you guys can help me with my little problem.

i am using SMFMediaGallery-1.5.1 and want to upgrade it to the latest SMFMediaGallery-1.5.2

problem is in my admin>package setting there isn't 'uninstall' in the SMFMediaGallery-1.5.1 mod.

Lonewood

I am using this mod - LOVE IT !! but have a couple of questions.  Have quickly read this thread but it is large so may have missed something relevant.

I'm using 1.5.1 on SMF 1.1.7

Some of my users have uploaded some photos but then later created their own album and want to move their images to their album.  I'm probably really thick but I couldnt see how to do this?  I'll keep looking for an answer but if someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

I have a certain user group with the permission to approve their own images but I'd like the process to be automatic.  I ticked auto-approve but it doesnt seem to do this - you submit the image and then have to click "Approve".  This also applies to me as an administrator.  Have I got a setting wrong somewhere?

Should I be upgrading to 1.5.2?  I'm happy with how it is working now but maybe a good reason to upgrade.

cheers
Leah
