No. They can still retrieve the files from their browser cache. Like for most websites.

You're looking at general permissions. You need to look into per-album permissions for the Download option. It's in the SMG area.

It's basically SMF's Unread Posts feature, only--for SMG items.

ok I went to admin > gallery> albums and I can't see anything about downloads.  Am I looking in the right place?

I have a couple of suggestions for this fine mod.

Add lightbox, which will also effect all images on the smf powered site.

When looking at an album photo that has the 3 preview images at the top. Is it possible to add a little bit of ajax there, so that when you click the << or >> links it will scroll through the images without reloading page or changing the originally previewed image?

That's actually a good idea, Nao.  You should make it #1425614317 on your To-Do list for AMG.

Also, lightbox? There's already a lightbox (Highslide) in SMG... I don't get your point.

Hello, I'm using this modification package for my personal homepage for friends and family and really find it very useful.

I've been wondering, is there a way to have the "User Albums" displayed in the Gallery's main page, instead of just the General Albums? I know there is a link to User Albums but I feel that many of the viewers will not know what to do.

The homepage is just a summary of some of the features.
If you want to lead people directly to the user albums page, you can change the Gallery link to point to that page.

I just want to say that I love this mod.  If there was a 'best of' award for SMF, this would get my vote.  Free, and very powerful.  Thanks to the developers.

I see someone mentioned they would like a 'watermark' functionality.  I would also like to see this.  Looking forward to it!

If I had to make one very very tentative and absolutely jist thinkin out loud type suggestion, it would be an item management system. By that I mean an outfit where you could change display order and do multiple deletes for instance on a check box/drop menu page. NAO ol buddy (and Dragoon), this is in no way an expression of dissatisfaction. This mod is a work of art and one of my all time favs to be sure. IF you were ever to wonder what could be done to make it even better, in my view that would be one thing.

Upgraded from beta 4 today. No errors in error log. Nothing that I can think of.

Shows up when registered member tries to upload video in his album. Server upload file size set to 250MB. Works fine in public albums.

Make sure the MGallery-getid3 folder is correctly copied into your Sources folder. Especially the file getid3.php!

I'm finding that the default checking under Albums - Details - Privacy - Membergroups of the two groups 'Guests' & 'Regular Members' does not allow non admins to view photos in that gallery - all other members see the brown window.

Whilst this may be unique to the forum I administer, I belive it may also have something to do with the required (unable to delete!) SMF post based membergroup, 'Forum Member' in my case, not being checked - see attached screen shot.

Is there a simple fix that I can make to the underlying code to check all be default.
