oh, its probably conflicting with another mod or something. i can re-code it to put it in a different spot

This is not working for me, same error.
   Execute Modification   ./Sources/ManagePermissions.php   Test failed

I think it might be conflicting with another mod, i have pretty url installed and it may be conflicting.

You can uninstall pretty urls install add management and reinstall pretty urls that might work. Or you can use the package parser on the mod page and manually install it in that file.

the pretty urls mod doesnt list that file as being modified though.  so i am not sure why it is not allowing that file

Hi i have the version 2.6.3.2 installed but it dont display my flash banners in between posts, works when using google code in same spot
only come up with the outline of the banner.
flash banners work in between topics

i solved it i had to remove .. from in front of value= and scr=

Not really since that's the price of having inline Javascript.

I suppose you could get very clever and have Javascript rewriting the HTML to add the other Javascript in, but that's not recommended for a number of reasons (mostly because it's against the terms of service for some advertisers)

I couldn't get the package manager to install this...fatal error.  So I manually installed it.  Then I couldn't even get to my admin page.  No table in the database.  And I can't find an sql file.

Assuming you downloaded the 1.1 version of the mod... look for install.php in the mod package which runs as a PHP file to do the database work for you.

There should be an install.php file in the mod package which you can copy to the root directory of your forum and run via the browser.

As a total newbie to installing mods, could someone be so kind as to tell me how to install this mod? I mean from after I have downloaded the zip file. I have searched for the answer but only found out how to edit the files etc. Do I upload the zip file or do I unpack it and upload the files?
