Ok, Found the problem, menu graphics were looking for example /Themes/extreme61/images/english-utf8/home.png

The uploaded theme zip contains /public_html/smf/Themes/extreme61/images/english/home.png

I just renamed english to english-utf8 and buttons appeared.

How can I add a custom button to the menu of this theme version RC2? In the index.template.php file all I found was this:

In the other version of this theme it was easy to add a button because they were all there in that spot. It seems like this version uses some sort of loop or something? Anyway, if anyone knows how to add a custom button or just change a current button (i dont need the help button) to something else on the menu....I would appreciate it.

@ PharCyDeD for SMF 2 the buttons are now in /Sources/Subs.php

Take a look there and you'll see the rest of your buttons.

Thanks for the great theme and keeping it up to date Fussilet...


For RC3 the 'help' page was giving me errors regarding the file 'GenericMenu.template.php' missing.

I simply copied it from the default directory to the Extreme6_RC3 directory to solve the issue.

Some other themes don't show the error although they don't have that file in their directory.
Perhaps a simple code edit to read the file from the default directory instead of the current theme?

This is a beautiful theme, thankyou so much
I found though when editing posts, it is honestly just too dark to use. I can barely read the text, If it was brighter like when reading would be great, also the login box is the same, very hard to read what you type.

I do not mean to bump an old post but i downloaded the Extreme6_RC_Final.zip and extracted it. i replaced the logo image with my own and then installed it. I can use the theme but the nav. bar is empty there are no icons or anything. What do i do please help

Your problem sounds like you are trying to use a 2.0 version of the theme on 1.1.x, or vice versa. It wont work.

Ok, i know have this theme working. Can someone go to myfreespeach.co.cc (spelt wrong on purpose) and tell me how to get rid of the white border? I changed the backround to black but it looks like the site has a white border and the white border has a black border
