Much better indeed! Nice one!

I think the categories totally rock. However, I think the info centre totally doesn't rock. The header doesn't seem to quite fit either IMO.

Message index looks great, but I'm not real keen on the buttons.

Display.template just doesn't work for me.

I don't like everything myself either, but I worked on this theme a long time ago.

So I decided to get it out now and then if it's popular, I'll make a "2.0" that I *do* like ;)

The header was really always the reason this never got finished, by the way. And again, I was stuck and made something simple. At least the gray background follows the #upper_section, so no matter the size of banner, the background will just follow down.

It's defo worth finishing up. :)

You should wrap the info center with the same design you have with the blue on the categories to tie it together, think it would look nicer and possibly redesign of the recent posts like this http://www.petchatforum.net/smf/index.php?theme=5 would fit in well with the design if you use the same gradients from your boards on the recent posts backgrounds.

My Custom Themes
2.0 themes only - I don't do 1.1.x

I don't mind the borrowing lol :) but it might be good to use the same gradient effect(with different hues) overall. Otherwise it can easily look like 2 different themes mashed up. If you need the exact PS styles to work further on it I can attach them here(assuming you use Photoshop CS3 or newer)

I use Corel Draw/Photopaint. And I made it from scratch, so if it doesn't look good, then I failed ;)

I did most of the graphic/css changes within a few hours after the discussions in the "Theme Discussions" (hidden board) a long time ago, and haven't really touched it since then. As I wrote earlier today, I just finished the theme to get it out... have so many unfinished themes hanging around...

I see. :) I don't use Corel at all, all my editing is in PS.

Akyhne

Yeah, seems to be the standard for web developers. But I believe Corel is used much more in the graphics business.
