the server is where all your files are running, you dont "find" it as you are using it already to host your files and run your forum.

well my forum files are in the cpanel that my hosting service ppl gave to me (the old one)
like... there was an upload option so i did that and uploaded the smf 2.0 installer thing to there and then.... yeah..

and then i went to my sites url and it started the installer and then i went through the stuff and then it appearntly worked cuz it let me on... but then it acted up as iw as adding files into themse > images folder so that i could use them on my site... was working fine up to that point plz help me i need help... i want to figure out why its doing this.... but idk how to fix it... cuz i dont think its my hosting service because i think i did something but idk what and idk how to fix it please help

and what did you do last? you are not telling us enough to help you. usually that message is due to server issues or you changed the information to connect to the database without updating it for the forum.

Maybe the issues you were experiencing were temporary because your site seems fine to me (for now anyway).

As I said before is could have been a DNS issue, as if it was a new host then the DNS has to propagate before it can be gotten to and this can cause access to the site to fluctuate for 24 hours after its been set-up by your host.
