Well, I'm stumped. :(

I have two identical servers both running Debian.

On one server the update goes just fine on all the domains and forums. On the other I get the "Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable" error.

I promise you, ALL the files and directories and *everything* in that directory are writable.

I've created a "temp" dir and set permissions and owner on it, but I cannot get past this message no matter what I do.

Any ideas? I'm pulling my hair out over this. :(

Can you open a topic in the 2.x support board, about that, please, RCB? As has been noted, this topic's not for support. ;)

Oops, sorry. I didn't see that.

Can you please check what seems to be the problem with changelog file download? It's empty and archive is corrupted. It's downloading as zip file but only .txt file. I've tried with renaming the file into .zip extension, but still nothing.

Thank you.

I'm not sure what's up with the changelog file, possibly a strange remnant of the way 2.0.7 was pulled when something was first found out to be broken.

Here's the relevant entry though.

I'd like to take everyone for the upgrade and fixes and seems to be fine now, I did my upgrade via FTP. uninstalled all mods before, ( don't think this was required but I do it anyway) helps me check things out after upgrades.

Good Job.!
regards,
Maxx

I suppose that only ftp file reupload is sufficient for those who have used the packs and not the package manager?

Thank you so much. Very nice work!

Nice work Team. Thanks SiNaN and Arantor that I don't have to changed anything on TP to make things work. :)

If TP didn't randomly declare its own db_query() function I wouldn't have had to modify the patch for that part ;)
