What is the link used for that code.

go to https://www.mixcloud.com/deejaychip/finally-2014/ for example, hover over the symbols then click on "Share" to generate the share/embed code.

it's very popular here, Downunder ... many DJ's prefer it over Soundcloud. me too.

Yeah that might work since the feed= in the embed code looks like the same url that you place in the post.

... so how do i get it automatically embed ? do you have to make code changes ?

i don't like messing with mods because i have too many (some anticipated potential conflicts) but if you do decide to accommodate this expanding site, i'll certainly be up for the beta / upgrade etc.

fyi, there was an issue where the mod said it was installed YET no files or dirs. updated. so i have had to put SAVE on manually at least twice ... SMF 2.0.11 fixed the issue and now i install it using the Package Manager ... it works well now.

Question about JibJab videos....

It seems that we used to be able to post the link to a video: http://www.jibjab.com/view/Wiucs48PT0SpFNf0M7shTA

Like the YouTube links then we had our embedded video to share with our members.

Now we do that and all we get is the link that we can either leave as is (this posts the actual link), use the url tags (this let's us either use the link as is or post a "title") or use the html beginning and closing tag for the link.

None of them give the video, only links.

Does your mod have the capability to post the video? Oh yes I forgot too, JibJab has an embed link you can use but it also just gives a text link to go get it.

I'm embarrassed to post this, but how do you use this feature? I guess they figure anyone getting this far can figure this out. But it would be nice on the download page to say how it's used.

It installed fine, but when I put the YouTube link in the post, as I do in another forum with Avea-Lite, I just see the link in the post, not the video.

Same if I use the YouTube embed code, then I just see the <iframe code.

Is the code supposed to go inside tags?

It should just be the link for the video. No embed code.
You must check off youtube in the simple audio video embeder settings in the admin area.

Hi to all of you.

I am a newbie here, did a search of SAVE and didn't find an answer, so here is my problem and within my question.

I am testing on a fresh new SMF board (no updates, just last version) and install the SAVE mod.

On the old board we use SAVE with the flash part to deliver several .flv files.

But flash is old and not save and not playable on smartphones and tablets. You feel it: we want to convert to mp4.

Well, simply testing SAVE with mp4 works, on smartphones, tablets, iPhones/iPads.
BUT there is a strange thing going on: in my url i take the settings video loop=false autoplay=false.
on iPhone/iPad works that well, you have to push the play button before it starts. But in browsers it isn't listening to that settings, it just load en plays. Tested in Safari (MAC), Firefox (MAC/Win), IE(Win) and Chrome (MAC/Win), the settings video loop and autoplay didn't work.

How can that be fixed?

Could it be that it doesn't work with Instagram videos with understrikes in its URL?

At one time we were able to post a link to a JibJab video and it would show the video. I am trying to figure out if those vids and this mod play together because, we no longer can post a JibJab link to see the video

If it doesn't play nice with them can you see if you can add them to your listing?
