Installed version 3.5d in 2.1.4 install, it breaks the login window in phone view, username field is offscreen top so it's impossible to login.  Global Headers Footers 2.1a and Automatic Attachment Rotation (and Resize) 6.25 are installed. Just reinstalled it and all I see in phone view is two ads, nothing else.

Looks like it inherited content from ver. 3.3a.  Forum was upgraded from 2.0.19 > 2.1.4, ver. 3.5d was installed after upgrade to replace 3.3a.

I don't use a phone, view mobile formats with Firefox responsive emulations. On my 7" tab the login window is partly offscreen right, I can pull it left with finger and see the whole thing.

hmm haven't been able to recreate the issue. I have firefox and chrome. Unfamiliar with emulation.
But I would suggest checking a real device instead.

In Firefox it's in Tools > Browser Tools > Responsive Design Mode.  It allows you to select a device from a list, or manually enter screen width/height.  Saw the same thing on my 7" tab last night.  If you look at the 2.0.19 install here, the mod is responsive, ads are sized correctly up top, but Curve is not, so forum is very small.

On the 2.1.4 install here, the ads are stacked vertically and not resized, but the forum displays correctly.  Clicking login button causes login window to appear mostly offscreen right, have to scroll left to center it.  That's what I see on tab.

Yes but is it happening on actual devices?

Well, it's happening on my tab in android FF.  Don't use a phone, that's the only mobile device I have.  Not sure what client is seeing, he can view the 2.0.19 install but is getting 403s from 2.1 install on his phone.  Asked him to have mod_security disabled on server, I don't have that option in cpanel.  Will see where we're at tonight.

Are you able to reproduce the glitch in FF?

I don't have that device. I would review all html tags make sure they are closed properly.

Now I realize the problem with TG 2.1.4 - it looks different than both the old and new TG.2.0.19 in that the pages aren't complete, can see the left side of pages but need to scroll to the right to see what else is missing. That's the difference between 2.0.19 and 2.1.4 and what Terry is seeing in comparing both of them on his IPhone.

Package manager shows v3.5d installed, but footers on all pages show v2.3.  Does that mean anything?

Looking at their ad setup, there are 11 sets of ads, all are configured to 'Display ads on every page on the top of the page', some are also set to display on specific boards.  Not sure which set is running on home page.  Deprecated html, everything is coded as tables, most without closing cell tags.  What they're seeing on phones is what I see on android tab and FF phone emulations, the top two rows of 3 ads each are stacked but not resized, single ads below that are correctly resized.  If the wonky html is causing the problem, it may only affect some browsers, that may be why you see it correctly on your phone.

Fixed it.  One of the html tables had fixed width, extended offscreen right and pushed everything left.  Will have to rewrite all the ads, but working for now.
