I figured out one, in your posts there is like a small picture thing of a piece of paper and a pen going in it, click on it and your post comes up like a quick post for editing.

I haven't noticed anything else yet, maybe when I get to do things from an admin pov.

klumy

can you make a screenshot so I know what you mean?

Tye

just look at your post you just made and you will see to the right, a paper with a pen sticking in it. you click on that and it will come up.

No at the bottom of the right hand side of your post, actually in the content of the post

Grudge

I don't know if the Simple Machines default theme has it in.
I'm only a half geek really...

Yeah the Babylon theme has it but the Simple Machines doesn't

When will RC2 or the final be released? Can't wait that long. You're going to have longer development cycles than Debian has.  ;)

If you're using the default theme (babylon) then click the help button...  ;D

A note:

I just installed SMF 1.1 RC1 fresh on an IIS5 / php 5.1.1(isapi) / MySQL 5.0.15 server.

If I put the new MySQL 5 files: (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=55616.0;attach=11890)
into the folder before install, the install fails after entering the admin acount info with the following error:

QuotePHP has encountered an Access Violation at ...

The install works if the new files are not used. I placed the new files in the forums folder after installation and it seems OK now.
