A few of my images are not showing up now after I uploaded the 4.1 beta.

The topic images are being reported incorrectly or something!

http://www.hardyboyscasefiles.com/forums/index.php?board=8.0

The urls for the images are to images that do not exist.

Solution anyone?

About languages and translation.

Is there any changes in defoult lang. pack?
It's hard to compare everything :)

Changes have been made, yes.  I'm sorry if it's hard to compare files - but there are programs made for that purpose.

Duh, my fault for not thinking the obvious.  Several were not up to date, even though I uploaded them once already.  Anyway, I uploaded them again and the graphics came back.  Hmmmm, I still have several "??" in the Themes area though!

[Unknown]

Don't worry about the ?? ones for now.

From the difficult the hardening of the man you can see

Here's how you fix that:

Go into Themes/default/languages and edit Admin.english.php

Search for:
$txt['theme4'] = 'Theme Settings';

Add after:
$txt['theme_current_settings'] = 'Current Theme\'s Settings';

Yeah, I know I double-posted. I posted there after posting here because I was too lazy to dig up the link to this thread... :)

Same error as above poster.

But *of course* you get the same error (that's the nature of bugs), so please rest assured that the devs will be dealing with it... ;)

Already dealt with like three days ago ;).  I forget the change but it was minor, and on that line.  I think you add an empty(that var) || clause to the if.

Thank You [Unknown].

[edit] I had some trouble when adding to the profile.php then just copied what was from the link and it worked, i have no idea what I left out, but in any case thanks.

First, the upgrade went smoothly and without a flaw. Running the upgrade.php file double checks things, and gives the installer / user the 'successful' thumbs up when an upgrade is accomplished correctly.

The question, and I looked around for the answer first. What is the final chmod setting(s) for the directories and files of SMF after installation is completed?

Thanks in advance...

Cybex

I had absolutely no problem at all with the update. Didn't even read the update guide ;)
