Upgrading problem

Hiya

I want to upgrade from smf 1.1.8 to smf 2.0 RC1

I tried to install the package via package manager but it wouldn't let me. Do you upload the package to your ftp?

My Mods (6) All My Mods Updated To SMF 2.0 RC2 and SMF 1.1.10!

Yes, you have to use FTP to completely overwrite the existing files in the same structure.

Have you ever used FTP? If not, you may want to ask for someone to help.

However, if you use a program like FileZilla, one side of the screen is your computer file list, and the other side is your hosts file list. You will write your new files directly over the hosted files.

Upgrading via FTP might have to be my next video.
