I'm no expert but did you install the mod twice by mistake ?

Ok. so, i know there's cache folder in my website with files like :
data_76238476324234blablabla-SMF-aeva_settings.php
and so on.

I have to delete all of them ? it's safe right ? :]

SMF has an admin page for routine maintenance.  One of the options is to empty the cache.

Nao: Any chance you could consider renaming the 'desc' and 'type' columns in one of the tables to something that isn't a MySQL reserved word?

@anak> Admin area... Or just go into your /cache/ folder and delete all *.php files. Yes, it's safe. It'll just make your website 5% slower for a few minutes, big deal. The cache system is completely disabled on my website and I've never had any problems with that.

The names were devised by Dragooon and he learned by himself that he shouldn't have done it... He was forced to use `signs every time he tried accessing the desc field (the type field is okay, never heard of any problem with it?)
I could rename the field on upgrade, but what for...?

Nao: Yeah it does - SMF's standard DB backup script doesn't escape field names... so the CREATE TABLE fails on a backup restoration.

lol, don't want you to do it, i just asking if it can be install on rc2 by itself, or will i have to install the entire Aeva Media mod ??

Yes... since it used to exist prior to Aeva Media.

You know, you could go look at the mod's page and see if it works for you...?

All i need is the youtube embed .. if all the other stuff can be turned off and don't cause issue then will install, but i think the youtube alone should be available for people like myself who don't need the full package.

Does that mean that you will be still releasing updates for the stand-alone mod - i suggest the Media-Mod and the Stand-Alone-Mod are using the same Url to update the sitelist ?

Correct, both use the same sitelist updates.

well yeah i mean not just youtube, other video sharing sites as well ... what i more mean s i don't need all the other media features, the gallery etc .. etc ..
