Hello

I've been using Aeva on SMF 2 and yesterday I've installed new version of SMF (upgraded). I've also installed new Aeva, because there were no Packages installed after the upgrade.

Now none of videos are shown in posts! Previous and new.

Aeva is of course enabled.

Please, help me what to do.

I think it'd be a bit vain... If only because it does work.
Just remember that a MP3 file view count will only be increased if you load the MP3 file entirely when playing it. Once it's downloaded, the view count is increased. I just tried on my site, just to be sure... And it worked.

you are right when it comes to uploaded mp3s, but when it comes to embedded mp3, the views count is stuck at zero.

For the FTP info, you just enter your FTP information, usually your domain, then the username you setup, pass, port is usually 21.

As far as mod problems go, you will need to ask the mod's author it their dedicated topic.

I am feeling kinda stupid.  I did a fresh install of Aeva Media yesterday and took a quick look at the admin configurations, thought I saw an option that would allow me to import all the albums from an existing gallery lite setup.

Today when I went back to do it, could not find where I saw this option. Have been through every screen in the config at least 3 times but no luck.

Am I crazy or just slow ?

Kind of mega impressed by this package... I was using AEVC for quite a while but as I was in the process of updating my gaming site I thought there had to be something better now... and all I can say is WOW!

One thing I was thinking off... how about adding the thumbnail in the forum bbcode instead of the full size video and then highsliding like it does in the gallery (if that makes any sense. That way any large HD videos won't burst any fixed width themes. As it is, you have to shrink HD vids to fit a fixed width theme.

Does that make sense to you?

hey guys, sorry if this has been answered already... but i just installed 2.0RC3 and of course i went right to Aeva to handle my media.. but after i installed the Avea mod, every other mod i tried to install goes to a white screen...

Aeva is working great... and after re installing (because Aeva wouldn't uninstall entirely) and trying other mods i have found out that it doesn't happen with anything else I'm currently using.  Well i forgot something, and now it's giving me the white screen again and i would really rather not go back and re-install again.. any help would be great... link to my site.  ---> http://thisisawf.co.cc/ <---- hope it was ok to link that :d

and could it possibly be that i just have to install Aeva after everything else... i know there's normally a little bit of an order to install things in... i know there's a list somewhere on here for what order to install packages in on 1x boards, but i can't find one for 2x boards. 

Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide on the subject.  If any other content is needed to discover the source of my problem please let me know.   

oh yeah btw Nao, Thank you so much for Aeva... you seriously are so great i can't begin to explain.  This is probably the best mod I've seen on this site and if i had the choice of using only it or every other mod i would choose it in a heart beat.
