I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Nao 尚

Yeah, but... "AEVA Gallery"?

There's no such thing as "AEVA" (it's Aeva :P), and it's "Aeva Media"... So if you want to say it's a gallery in Aeva Media, say "Aeva Media Gallery", or "AeMe Gallery", or even "AM Gallery", but "AEVA Gallery" is clearly wrong :P

Hey, I'm the author, I get to say what's wrong ;D

SMF Media Gallery.
That's the gallery module which has now been integrated into Aeva Media.

I don't know either... I'm sure it's a combination of issues.

You know why I used "AEVA Gallery"?

Whats the consensus on installing AjaxChat after installing Aeva Media?
I am running SMF v 1.1.11, then installed Aeva Media and then AjaxChat. Im using the Default SMF theme.

Everything works well with just Aeva Media installed, but after installing Ajac Chat im getting errors when loading any page of my SMF site.
I loaded a backup to get things back to normal, and then tried reinstalling AjaxChat again. This time all pages load, but the menu button is missing for Chat and several check boxes in the admin section have no description.

I searched through this thread and the AjaxChat one and saw where others had similar issues, but did not see what they did to correct them.
Is anyone here running both of these Mods on SMF 1.1.11 successfully?

i am a noob at this and i just have installed a couple of mods. oh and im running rc3 btw.

Nao 尚

Yeah but it's internal... Due to naming conventions! :P

Your server seems to have failed installing AeMe properly...

Should i install again or just remove it all?
Oh and i manually installed due to a problem in the automatic package installer.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
I really dont care or have use  for the media center i just want the videos to be displayed in post automatically.

what should i do?

kat

Well, there you are, then!

Far be it from a mere support troll to disobey naming conventions... ;)

Ok, Nao has a point  :D
But as long as it's an internal problem, has any body got a clue what's going on and why the button is showing on a strange place. As far as my knowledge goed, there's nothing wrong with the code Nao made and he didn't change any codes working with the layout.

Who can help?

If you're not upgrading, I'd suggest you uninstall the package, clean up the database and delete any remaining files in your folders.
I'm not optimistic that it'll work on a second try, though...

If you just want the embeds, use Old-Aeva.

What is on the error lines in the file?

Avath

i manually took at all the coding and files and fortunately for me it all worked and was back to normal  :) . Then i downloaded the old Aeva , but the package installer doesnt install just gives me the download option again when i click install. This aint the first time it has happened , i havent had a chance to install no mods that way..just a pack of smilies. Is there a Parse for the old Avea? maybe i can try to install it manually?
