Ladies and Gentlemen,

I had the
"Error type: uploadError
Error ID: file2

Error message: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2038"]"

and found only clues to the solution or "fix". I did some research and determined that a "cross browser policy" was needed so I came up with one that works (through a lot of Trial and error)......

Here is a copy of what I wrote/copied with some help from adobe.com:

Didnt work for me. I put the file in root and in forums folder along with the previous crossdomain.xml. But the problem remains. Eventhough the error has changed a little. Now the error message is...

It worked for me, but the usage resources went sky-high, so I deleted the gallery and am going with another option.

When clicking on a board, my members and I are now getting an "internal server error".  It's only on board #6, and not on other boards. I've tried deleting the most recent post, to see if that had something to do with it - and no luck.

You get the following message:

I haven't touched anything recently, everything has been installed and was running fine. This is seemingly a "random" problem. Any helps, tips, advice, etc would be fantastic and greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can test that theory by temporarily deleting my .htaccess file, correct?

How do I fix/find/solve issue #2 if it is?

Just rename it to .htaccess.old, no need to delete it.  If thats the problem you will know right away.

2) You have a .php file with permissions of 777 but are running PHP as suphp (or your host updated to that), either way that will toss a 500 error for you as well.

I dont have any aeva files in my sources folder with 777. They all are 666.

One more tip.. it may be helpful... I have 2 forums. One is open to public and the other is behind a passworded directory. Problem occurs in the forum which is behind the passworded directory. I didint have this issue for a long time. I uploaded many file before but this problem came up just recently. I dont have any mods installed otherthan aeva. I dont use a custom theme. I just upgraded from RC to gold recently. This may have triggered something. I donno. The public forum has one aeva file set to 777 in the sources folder. However there is no problem in that forum.

Weirdest thing is that, this problem doesnt always happen. Just now i have uploaded 1000 pictures from my test account without a problem at the same time one of my members tried to upload about 10 files but he got flash 401 error.

So the error is so inconsistent.

Same thing. Both 666 and 777 are "world writable" and suPHP, etc., will bar access to them.

Hi all though it is pretty clear I must have uninstall previous versions I did not, because i did not read    . Now i cannot access to my forum, i find a pretty page in white. Is there any way to solve this out ??

hi guys just wondering how to do this, i have 2.0 gold forum, i tried to install mod but got test failed on sources/subs.php.
i tried to manually edit but could not edit last 2 codes like mlist array etc because i could not find it when searched.

can some one tell me if i have to install mod first then make edits or make edits first because if i edit firts i wont find code to edit but dont want to install incase i mess up, but would like to learn how to edit this.

Hi. I've upgraded to Aeva 1.4 on SMF 2.0 and now my random items are showing as a list instead of pictures. Is this normal? Also, whenever a member enters the gallery, I get this message in my error log. " /Themes/default/Aeva.template.php Line: 238 "
I tried to uninstall Aeva to re-install, but get a message advising me not to, should I ignore this and go ahead anyway?

Check the avea site for more support on this issue, been discussed extensively. 

You can try the following in db_aeva.php:

I've the same problem when I try to install Aeva 2.10 on my forum. SMF-Version 1.1.14
This is the message I get, when I try to install 2.10

I wanted to ask on the official Aeva-Website for support, but I wasn't able to start a topic there

How can i change the size of the preview window when i am previewing a YouTube embedding video inside an album ?

Hello,

Is there a possible way to "remove" the album information once you are in an album (at the top)?
I noticed that this happens in each album and I couldn't find an option to turn it off.
