Hello I'm new here to . I was invited to a forum called  Restore The Republic Forum . I have a website . and wanted to use SM as my forum server . We had a forum server ,well we have a forum server call PHPbb . the problem we have with PHPBB is the keeping the porno people out . My question is . Is there any problems with the porno people on this site . how is the customer service on this site . We wouldn't mind paying to have this service if the Customer service is good .

With smf you won''t have such problems, it has plenty of features/mods that will keep the spammers out. And the Customer Service is great, the best. Smf has the most helpful and nicest staff, the community is very helpful as well. But you will see it for yourself

I've been poking around and like this forum formate . the price is 50.. a year is that correct  ? Once  I pay  they help me install ?

The forum software itself is free, but with a Charter Membership you'll get access to a helpdesk and private support board for just $49 a year.

Yes, that is correct. And as a Charter member you are entitled to plenty of extras, one of them being a forum installation. After your payment clears and you will have that fine blue badge, open a ticket at the Support Desk and one of the staff members will install smf for you.

I see that some forums have ads . Will my forum be ad free

The forum installation is only the default SMF install without modifications.  SMF does not come with any ads built into the system.

It's done like any other normal paypal transaction.

Just go to the Paid Subscription section of your profile and follow the instructions, that'll tell you what you'll need to input. Off the top of my head, I cant think of anything except your PayPal email and password on the paypal site.
