Hi Guys,

I just modified my SPortal php file specifically for the userinfo block - I made the user posts clickable - I used the clickable posts mod as a guide.

Not sure if anyone is interested but some might like to use it.

Find:

Replace with:

Hopefully it should work but please do make a backup of the original file so if it goes wrong you can revert it.

Oh god ><

I wanted to get rid of the 'time to stay logged in' box on the userinfo block, so I tried to uninstall SimplePortal so I could reinstall it with an edited SPortal.php file. But it didn't uninstall properly or something, because well...

you will need to manually edit the files that the mod affected, then re install..

the info you are looking to remove can be found in the index.template.php file in the theme directory you are using

How to show the images uploaded or linked in the posted article for the portal page?

Now it simply display the source code

I'm using Google's AdSense with Global Headers and Footers mod and on the index page of the portal, it's shoving the Google Ads below my top blocks. It's not a real big deal to me, except I may miss CPC revenue, but for others that might have header style graphics, it might mess a forum up.

On SMF 1.1.7 with SP2.1.1 on default theme Im getting flooded over and over with the same error, literally 2 pages of them anytime anyone goes on the portal

Ive compared my SPortal1-1.template.php with a clean copy and mine has a space between every line of coding, so i FTP'd the copy i unzipped thinking the spacing might be causing the problem but cleared the error log and went on portal and back to error log and it done it again

Such errors are mostly caused by custom PHP blocks.

Anyways, if so how I don't get this part.
It pops up with codes and I don't understand.

Someone said we should try simple portal but if so how do we get our stats and that to look like this because that's part of portal I know that because smf for free has that well not exactly like what i'm going to show but similar....
