Does the portal page take on the custom theme of the forum ?

Also how easy is it to add articles is it pulled from a forum ?

Yes it takes on the theme, and it is very easy to add articles from the forum.

When i put </td></tr></table> in the index.template.php bevor the PHP Buttons on the footer, the footer error is away but the right block you can´t see.

Can the blocks be choosen so they don't appear on the forum page ? Just want them to be on the homepage

I know you must edit something on the custom theme how easy is that and anyone got any advice on how to do this please much appreciated

Hi,

I have a problem with my SMF 1.1.7 and SP 2.1.1

After the Update it doesn´t view the right Blocks on the Portal Site.

I also have had this problem and I was told to delete 2.1.1 and re-install 2.0.5 until they have this issue resolved. Is this now changed??

Uninstalled 2.1.1 and reinstalled 2.0.5 and it works perfect. Must be an issue in 2.1.1.

When a member wants to change their look and pick a different template it changes it everywhere but the home page of the portal. Is there a way to change this when they want to change their template?

Set up new 2.0 Beta 4 with NOTHING else added.

Uploaded Portamx 0.951 and all went fine.

See your front page and want to add my own.

Go to Block Manager and open Welcome page - its empty and no matter what I put in it the same old front page displays.

Added a new HTML block to the front page - same thing.  I see an empty block and when I try to edit it the result is the same - it saves blanks.

I guess this portal is not ready for actual use;  too bad it looked neat.

Can anyone help?

Do you mean that if they do something like choose a new theme, it doesn't change on the portal?
If so, the portal needs to be set to show the theme "Forum Default". That should fix it.

Is it possible to set certain blocks so that they're collapsed by default? In other words when the page loads some, but not all are collapsed and users must expand tham to see what they are?

I have installed SMF 1.1.7 + Simple Portal 2.1.1

I have a problem with the block RSS. To take the feed a wordpress with utf-8 in Spanish language the charset is displayed incorrectly.

I have tried to disable the simple portal.

And found that the forum button is invisible.

So the drop downs i have created under forum button were vanished.
