And I might as well reproduce the changelog here...

! Fixed album icon bug
* Overhauled the moderation log
+ Added ability to regenerate thumbnails and previews
+ Added an "unapproved" notice to regular users visiting their own unapproved items
! Fixed Highslide and SWFUpload not working when installing SMG in a custom theme
* Moderators now have more power -- including the ability to view unapproved items and comments
! Fixed a few issues while pruning item
! Fixed lots of recount/statistics bugs
! Youtube/Dailymotion thumbnail download wouldn't work with PHP 4
!* More minor fixes and changes, as usual...

Anyway, the latest update seams to have cured the icons thing (Brilliant!) but like another poster i still have problems with videos..grrr where i didn't with the original release.

Solved mine.

I just wish that there was a working code for a Random Image Block for SimplePortal 2.0.5 for Media Gallery. That way, I could have it on my main page.
Yet, they don't seem to have one that works.

The current converter has issues, a new one is being worked upon.

This gallery is designed especially for Pictures, but has a decent support for Audio and Video.

About video's issue, can you post your PHP version?

still seem to have same problems, Doh!

The converters versions DOES NOT have any relation with SMG's versions. So releasing beta 2 does not means that a new version of converter is also released.

How do I limit uploads to video or embed video only?

Deny permissions to add audio or images.

Uhoh...  getting a "video no longer available"  from the embed when I upload http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubnHR1JsPtA  but as you can see, it definitely works if you go to the link.

I cannot see the gallery.

And I have updated a new beta 2 package, it fixes a few more things.

You might not have permission as a guest, I suppose. 

Regardless, I've tried two different videos, and both times when I click play it tells me that the video is no longer available.


Also, how can I set the comments to show the latest first?  And are there alternatives to posting comments besides popup?  It doesn't match the look of my forums.
