You might not have permission as a guest, I suppose.

Regardless, I've tried two different videos, and both times when I click play it tells me that the video is no longer available.

Also, how can I set the comments to show the latest first?  And are there alternatives to posting comments besides popup?  It doesn't match the look of my forums.
Can you give me permission?
And comments have the option to be sorted Descending on the viewitem page.

Dragooon> Hey, that makes me think... When I finish my per-album Default sort order code, should I also include the Comment sorting stuff in it...? I completely forgot about that... The problem is that people might not like having a different comment order when they switch to another user's album... Should I set this site-wide, as opposed to per-album settings?

Many thanks Dragoon, and thanks for the arsey childish reply from Nao, thought we were here to learn?
I wasn't even being agressive towards you... That's what the smiley was for. Cool down.

Now, my last month on SMG and possibly my future months can be described in three words: "hard", "unpaid" and "fulltime". It's also a source of pleasure, but I never "signed up" for "customer support", especially since the mod is 100% free. I'm just trying to happily share my work. So, consider my help a gift, and don't start insulting me in return ("arsey childish", uh? WTF?). I have a signature to prove it. I'm glad to help when I can, when I have time and when it's not driving me crazy. But I don't need to be pushed over the edge.

Are we good?
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Aeva Media rocks your life.

Go ahead with that

Nao, you will find that most people on here are running forums, unpaid, long hours, and run purely for giving pleasure to others (that's the nature of this wonderful beast,) Maybe its a good time to have a lie down mate and think before you post, sometimes posts like that can put people off for fear of becoming ridiculed,.... one of the reason i set up one of my forums ;) You have to remember that something pretty darn simple to you can be pretty confusing to others....... that's a winking smiley BTW so everything's ok..

You should have access now.

When I go to my profile gallery Summary I get

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mgal_theme_url() in /home/bfeo/public_html/forum/Sources/MGallery-Sub.php on line 1275

for my profile gallery View Items:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mgal_theme_url() in /home/bfeo/public_html/forum/Sources/MGallery-Sub.php on line 1375

Crustybum, I understand what you mean, because I'm practically in the same shoes.  Working on my site whenever I'm not in my college classes.

However, Nao 尚 didn't really come off in the wrong here.  Your post "err... sorry?" did not define what you were having trouble understanding with what appears to be a very straightforward post.  His response wasn't unwarranted.

Dragooon

Make sure you run the latest version and have the latest files. mgal_theme_url function exists in Subs-MGallery.php

And your video plays for me in FF3.

A suggestion I have (or you can call it a request :) ) is to limit the display size of icons.  Right now it seems a user can upload an icon at any size and it remains that size, which can blow out pages.  Maybe have it resize down to the thumbnail size?

With what? I offered several ideas :P
I'd say put it side-wise in settings area.

This is something I'll try to get before final release of 1.5, if I remember it :P

Uhoh...  getting a "video no longer available"  from the embed when I upload http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubnHR1JsPtA  but as you can see, it definitely works if you go to the link.

Look yourself.

http://bfeo.org/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=item;id=1

As you can see in Embed box at the right at youtube.com says "Embedding disabled by request"

That means you can view video on youtube but can`t embed it elsewhere  :)

yeSSs..
But how about the block code for TP. The older code is not play for new version of SMFG.
The database value you're trying to insert does not exist: sort
/home/mysite/public_html/v10/Sources/Subs-MGallery.php
3372

Can you paste the code?

The mass upload doesn't work for me, the select files button does nothing.
Make sure you have uploaded default theme's mgallery folder to your theme's folder

Was the issue fixed for linking images in posts?
What issue?

RCC_SaMiaM

The issue I was talking about was not being able to use the SMF BBC img tags to show the image in a post.  Mine does not work (even using the BBC code it lists in the gallery)

RCC_SaMiaM

Oh I forgot to mention, I already did copy the mgallery folder into my theme's folder before making the post that the buttons do nothing for mass upload.

Dragooon

@qubbah, replace this line
   $items = getMediaItems(5,true);
with
   $items = getMediaItems(0, 5, 'm.id_media DESC');

@RCC - The code is supposed to work just fine, are you sure you use the one listed in the gallery?
Does the mass upload work in default theme? Do you have JS and Flash in your browser?
