I'm getting 406 errors when ever i try and click an album
LOOKS LIKE:
QuoteNot Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /forum/index.php could not be found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Installed here:
hxxp:voguefm.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=mgallery [nonactive]

Installed with no errors so don't understand what could be wrong.

Cheers for any help people :)

I too ran into the same issue. The solution is to contact your Hosting company to deal with this. They need to make some sort of change to something called "Apache mod_security" for your site. I'm not 100% certain what it is but it has something to do with intrusion detection or firewall. In my case the System Admin explained to me that he had to disable one mod_security rule for my site because it was "giving a FALSE positive".

Which bit, exactly?
I see you reuploaded your pics. Did you fix your Subs.php file, or update the MGalleryItem.php file? I need to know if MGalleryItem needs to be updated.
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

MGalleryItem.php

That did the trick. :)

Hey, do I get credit as being a beta tester for this now?  ;) :P LOL

I also have a coppermine gallery but integrated with mkportal. Is there an option to convert from this one or i have to make from mkportal module stand allone installation and then bridge it with sf???

One, how do I delete comments individually?

Two, how can I change the word item/s to video/s?

To delete any comment, go to the image in the gallery, scroll down to the comment, and click the delete button.

Interesting... ^o^ This will be fixed in the next beta, of course.

So, why did you remove your pictures and re-upload them? (The ID changed... That's why I thought it didn't make the trick in the first place.)

QuoteHey, do I get credit as being a beta tester for this now?  ;) :P LOL
Well, I don't know the extent of the credited beta testers' work on SMG because I haven't seen do any beta testing during my only month as a developer, and I suspect Dragooon put their names in because it was a cheap attempt at making his readme file bigger  O:)

Hmm seriously, I think the credits area is a bit overcrowded right now... I'd actually recommend removing beta tester credits from the area... The module list takes too much space already. And we need to credit them! Even if they don't ask. That's a lot of work we don't have to do. Which leaves us more time to work on new features.

@Note to Dragooon> How about we use regular item icons for the comments area? The Edit and Delete button are way too small to be recognizable, indeed...

Sorry for the triple post... I just remembered Simplemachines.org doesn't have a "Merge Double Posts" feature like my own board :P

Edit /Themes/default/languages/MGallery.english.php ... And replace words individually :P
Or you could edit your SMF install so that it replaces the word "item" with "video" on-the-fly when loading that very file. It can be done (I replace the French equivalent of "E-mail" with the actual "E-mail" word in my own board), but you need some programming experience for that.

Shame,.... actually not bothererd about the members, just the pics..lol, incidently just upgraded to the newset gallery, (1.5, five minutes ago) and apart from the no icon issue (which i know your working on) i have just tried to upload a video from you tube and all i got was a blank page (it worked on previous version)

I'm having the exact same problem. Just upgraded up to the new version and when I try to upload videos now I get a blank screen. Videos that were previously uploaded are not viewable.

I had re-uploaded before doing that edit. Re-uploading did not work, that's why I did that fix you posted.

@Burke> Great, then :)

I clicked on your rgxbox.com link (so, that Fallout 3 game, is it any good? I used to be an Oblivion addict...), and noticed no videos on your gallery. You'll have to hand me a stick so that I can cross the river here :P

For the mass upload, is the form action suppose to be blank?  I notice there is no javascript to perform an action either.  So that is why mine does nothing.

There should be a select button, a select box and a upload button.

Open your index.template.php and delete one of the instances.

1.5 beta 2:

Hmm...  On my SMF 1.1.6 install it seems to work perfectly fine... for a few hours.  I even create a test album and set up permissions and it's all good, so I leave it alone for a bit.  Now, by the next morning I go to it and get this:

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /Sources/Subs-MGallery.php on line 3275

After the first instance, I uninstalled it, and re-installed it.  By next day it seemed to be the exact same scenario played out, and I'm getting the error again.  I'm hoping this can be an easy fix, as I like the features in 1.5 compared to 1.0!  This looks to be a great mod!

Please visit http://smf-media.com for fixes to common issues you might find. I already published the fix there ;) Just search for the word "3275" :P

Dragooon> Please release beta 1.1 with the fixes ;) I don't want to post this again and again :P

BTW, this was the only solution I found, but http://wwwsmf-media.com is giving me DNS errors.
