I'm not sure, but I think it's a remain from the SMF Gallery lite that I had installed and de-installed a longer time ago. If yes, then I'm probably not the only one who has this remain in forum/index.php.

So all in all the issues which I reported here are actually NOT caused by RC 1.

Well, this is not exactly our fault if SMF Gallery Lite doesn't uninstall correctly... Maybe you should ask over there instead? I don't have any power over their uninstall process.

I didn't say it's your fault. Sorry, if I sounded so. It was rather my fault that I automatically thought on a filename typho.

Btw, a few posts above Technoman is reporting the same issues which I had.
Perhaps my hint is a help to solve them. 

Anyway, MGallery is a great modification, if not one of the best. That's what I think.

That was after I fixed the thing, but before I realized it was fixed after RC1

Weird, everything has been ok, then for some reason today the icons say sorry you are not allowed to view this file.Make sure you are connected to the server.  ??

I have the latest upgrade 1.5beta RC1

got the issue too, but cleaning your browser cache fix the trouble

This is usually because the filename is empty after the upload. This can be due to a number of reasons.
Your best bet would be to use the other upload method (single, or, mass upload).

I have SMF Gallery Lite installed before this and used the converter to convert it to SMF Media Gallery ... Now I have the SMF Media Gallery installed fine but I can't seem to upload anything ... I keep getting the error :
"There was a error in uploading, please try again or contact the administrator. "


This is the SMF Media Gallery related error that I picked up from Error Log :

The converter also got stuck at step 6 and produced a lot of errors before that ... Do you want me to attach the screen shot and the error messages ?
Also, is this a problem with the files or with the database ?

I think you should first wait for the new converter and RC 2 to be released, then try to convert.

I forgot to include it in the file list last week, but then I immediately uploaded it on smf-media... Wait for RC2 or go there to download the file

i went to smf-media and can't find RC2.

Also, are there any permissions I need to set on my album directories? Direct linking or linking with BB Codes to the photos gives me an internal server error. I tried it with the "mgalleryGetObject.php" and I'm still getting an Internal Server Error.
