Run this query in phpmyadmin and tell me what it outputs
SELECT * FROM smf_mgallery_files WHERE id_file = 4
Make sure to replace smf_ with your prefix.

I have the problem with the icons too.
Folder.png I could insert into the database (with your instructions), but the problem are the other icons,  but which numbers do have music.png, camera.png and film.png?  :-[

I am better this way. The reason for I asked 2 Mb was that your server's limit is 2 MB.

Can you check your apache/php error logs?

@ Manu - They should be 1, 2, 3.

genieuk

Oh rite, i am learning today.

So basically you mean when i upload anything to my website (server) the maximum i can upload at each time is 2MB  ???

Also checked in Cpanel and nothing in my access or error logs, completely clean.

Thank you,
Mathew

Yes true.

About your issue, TBH, I am not sure. Can you upload pictures? Can you paste the information in the Gallery -> About page?

I have problems with uploading video (very small sizes) and have yet to succeed although embedding you tube is no problem, another thing is that if i go in to firefox instead of i.e. there are no icons..even after regenerating them :-\ but they are there on i.e...

@ Manu - They should be 1, 2, 3.
Ok, I search for those ID's and here is the result

SELECT * FROM smf_mgallery_files WHERE id_file = 1
It shows me a normal photo in the gallery
SELECT * FROM smf_mgallery_files WHERE id_file = 2
Empty/No icon
SELECT * FROM smf_mgallery_files WHERE id_file = 3
It shows me a normal photo in the gallery

What have I to do/change so the generic icons will be shown in the gallery as they should?

I really dont understand

I just tried uploading a mp3 file in my user album and it worked for some strange reason, but when uploading in general album it does not work.

But problem with being now able to upload audio in my own member album shows that server error image again on my audio file which i uploaded.

So at this present time, i can only upload audio to my own member album but i get that server image showing, even thou the audio file etc still plays, i cannot upload audio or video in general albums and not able to upload video in own member album (user album).

Nibogo> Yes, I'd rather all language translators wait for a final version before translating.

Manu0372> I have no such problems (just tried). What's the URL of your Youtube link? As for your icon problem, please try these two fixes. One of them might be the man for the job.

genieuk> You must have a configuration problem... Have you checked your General Album settings? I just tried uploading a mp3 in one of my General albums and it worked fine.

Log off. Empty your cache. Log back in.
Every time you change an album icon (or a thumbnail), the browser may not recognize it, because we don't "force" a cache reload for them, in order to save bandwidth. Once you upload an thumbnail, it doesn't happen often that you would want to change them. As for album icons, they are not so relevant to the usability. Simply quitting your browser and relaunching it will take care of the reloading most of the time.
What I do when I want a reload and it doesn't happen (yes, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, and that's for all websites, not only SMG-type websites) is simply right click on the icon, copy the address, launch a new tab directly to that address, and hit Reload a couple of times. It always works.

Basically the albums have a default icon of the id 4. In your case, it was missing from the DB, the last query added it. Now it should be all fine.
Definitely must be that Mgal_move() bug...

genieuk, did you use the "Move" feature on a picture that was being used as an album icon? Did you use the Move feature at all, actually?

I get this error when I try to mass upload:

httpStatus
406

Any ideas?

Also I still can't make a TP block work.  If anyone has any thoughts that would be great.

This solved my problems, but now I haven an other problem. :(

None can load up something in our Gallery.
I tried it as Admin and with my test account, but all I get to see when I try to load up a photo, video or mp3 is
QuoteAn Error Has Occurred!
There was a error in uploading, please try again or contact the administrator.

I uploaded the package. It seemed to have installed fine. Yet nowhere in the admin can I find anything to do with the gallery ? I checked FTP and it parsed all the files into separate locations.

my site is located at www.asromaforum.com .. how would I access it ?
