I cant open any of the conversion scripts, they all end at line 2087 and don't work.  Anyone else having this issue?

Thats good enough to be the difference . There are some other bug fixes as well I believe.

I think, you are not right.

metallica48423 let us know, that he and the team are corresponding with you and your "friend" in this thread and the one weightman has stared.
We, or maybe only I, don't know what has happened meanwhile. Appropriate advocacy I think.

Then the difference between you and Karl.
It's not the amount or quality of work one of you spend to help users. (I have never seen a mod author like you, who ask so often for admin access to fix things for other webmasters.) Maybe it's the different style of writing, but this depends.

I think, it's the wide range of users each of you are reaching. Karl has written a bunch of mods and therefore he reached a bigger audience. You are working on "only" two mods and although the mods are very popular, your audience is smaller.

Now and future?
Now I'm sorry to hear that you quit. Imho you carried a fresh wind into this community. Some times ago I used to call it "French style". See, I'm from Germany and we are so dump, that we tend to follow our leaders even if they are incredibly stupid bastards. The "French style" is the opposite. If something went wrong, you went to Paris to give somebody a wake-up call (or to behead someone).
So, I appreciate if you call a spade a spade.
