@Harvester> I have no idea what you're talking about :D I'm a bit tired...

honestly.. neither do I LOL!

This has me so confused! The mod was working perfectly a few days ago and i made no changes to anything on my site other than to upload images and videos.

I will try to explain better...

When I use the "Direct Link" in between Img Tags [img]DirectLink[/img] I get red X's now.

BBC Embed still works fine and shows the thumbnail.

when I copy the "Direct Link" from my image in my gallery and paste it into the address bar of my browser I get:

QuoteInternal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

However,  the BBC Embed code works fine.

The only difference I notice between the two is that the BBC Embed referrences the url of my website as it is changed by the bridge I have in place (I have a bridge that bridges e107 and SMF) .... the direct link uses a different url... a url that is no longer valid because of the modifications the bridge does.

Look at the difference between the two different urls that the gallery is utilizing...

BBC Embed image uses this url: http://thebassholes.com/e107_plugins/smf/smf.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=390;preview

Direct Link uses this url: http://thebassholes.com/bassin-forums/MGalleryItem.php?id=394

notice the top url shows the changes to my forum t hat the bridge has made. The bottom url, for the direct link, does not.

For some reason the BBC Embed is "fetching" (if that is the correct term) the correct URL for my forums and all mods on it but the Direct Link is not.

Did I make more sense that time? Its hard to describe something when you dont truly understand it ;)

Edit:  I can upload a file to my server and use the natural path to it for IMG tags it will show just fine

http://www.thebassholes.com/bassin-forums/help_images/BBC-Embed-Code.jpg between IMG tags displays an image perfectly on my site.

Please help

Harvester

until I get an answer to the above issue I will stick with using the BBC EMbed code....

but... how can I make t he size of the preview that is seen once they click the thumbnail that the BBC Embed Code places in the posts.

Clicking the thumbnail brings up a bigger picture but I would still like the image that is brought up to be larger.. Id want it to be 800x800 max size. I am guessing there is somewhere to change that in some file in the mod?

@mark> you have no pity for that little guy who kills himself on the task on Aeva and SMG, don't you? O:)

@Harvester> you SHOULD stick to the bbc tag really... There's no reason for using the other one on your own site. And I don't understand your new question either, lol. There is currently no way to show the larger version of a picture with a lightbox. I do plan to add a link to the larger version, though.
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

I cannot upload files any larger than 8.5mb

I have my php.ini set to 24m

I have SMG set even higher max size of directory = 16000047
Max file size in KB = 3200000

and beyond that I'm not sure why it won't allow me to upload files larger than 8.5mb I've tested everything up to that, and it works, .. everything beyond that .. just reloads the UPLOAD page again but blank... and oddly no forum errors.. ? confusing as all get out.
I already spoke with my hosting (1and1) and they concluded that it was a 3rd party issue lol ;) I mean like damn I haven't even been to the first or second party yet.. :P

any ideas folks?

add SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
to the .htaccess file in the forum root. May not fix the first issue, but should fix the mass upload problem.

QuoteInternal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

That's right folks, an error ontop of an error..

I tried doing the whole..
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off to the .htaccess file in the forum root. May not fix the first issue, but should fix the mass upload problem.

and I got the above error message...

This may not help fix your issue, but I had the same problem with mass upload which I resolved by changing my PS server settings from Mod_PHP (with XCache) 5.x to standard PHP 5.x? May not help, but just an idea.

I tried to read through some of the pages since I didn't find anything when doing a search so if this has been asked, I'm sorry.
I just installed this mod on RC1 but the menu for the links are all showing as red x's.

I am getting problems adding mp3 files. I have tried either individual or the mass upload and get an error on both, it says to contact the admin as there has been a problem. But the mass upload shows 100% progress

Upload folder is 777

Just a thought, would it be possible to have the player pop-out when you click play so that you can listen to music while browsing the site, rather than just have to stay on that page, or even better maybe a block that has all the added files in a pop-out player or something.
