It is allowing my members to create user albums and add things to them.
But it is not listing the user albums created by them.
It is only showing the user albums made by Admins.
Auto-approve everything is turned on, so these user albums should be appearing on the list.
However, they are not and I do not understand why.
It shows the pictures users posted into these albums under Recent Items.

I can search for the images and find them.
I can click on the album from the item and view the album that way...
Any idea why it is not showing the user created albums here...

Like for example... User "ThaKiLLa" has alot of user albums, and it shows alot of them.
But this link below is one of a few of his user albums that are now showing up on user albums page in the gallery.

Whatever it is... it seems to be affecting all members.
I'm stumped. Hopefully I am just overlooking something.

UPDATE: I completely uninstalled and then reinstalled the gallery and still the same problem...
It was working fine yesterday. Also, it seems that when I the Admin add a new user album it shows up on the list.
(you will see empty user album labeled "test" that i just made)

But I had given my friend ThaKilla admin ability, so he is an admin also.
So if when I add an album it shows up then.. shouldn't his also?
I have double checked all admin config. and everything seems in order.

Have too many user albums been created? Have too many items been added to the gallery?
What would cause user albums to be successfully created -  but not listed in the gallery?

Is my problem not helpable?

Ok, so I have now uninstalled v1.5.6 and installed 1.5.5

My user albums are now showing up in the gallery, however.. the user album section is not showing 15 albums per page like its supposed to...

Currently my gallery thinks there are 4 pages, but...

Page 1 lists (15) albums
Page 2 lists (9) albums
Page 3 lists (1) album
Page 4 lists (2) albums

Obviously something is not right there.... What should I do?

Ok so I think I solved that problem for now by uninstalling v1.5.6 and installing previous v1.5.5

You should look into v1.5.6 because there is most definitely something wrong within the script that was causing user albums not to show up in the gallery.

I tried a fresh install of 1.5.6 for a second and third time before reverting back to v1.5.5, so that is how I know the problem is in 1.5.6... somewhere.

So I'm guessing there was a reason for 1.5.6's release, what was wrong with v1.5.5...
Anything I should be looking for?

After you have corrected this problem, I will definitely update back to current.
But in the meantime, people should know about the user album bug in v1.5.6

I get no errors.  Like I said, the converter worked great!  I have two forums, and one is a new install (not converted) www.conejotennis.com/smf  and the pics don't appear.  The other I haven't finished the custom theme modifications but even on the default the pictures don't appear?

IIRC, Dragooon applied a few fixes to 1.5.6 to allow splitting user albums more consistently between pages.
If you have a problem with this, then maybe he did something wrong. I don't have lots of user albums so I can't test myself. Ask Dragooon.

and also I updated the gallery version by uninstalling the ver 1.5.3 and installing 1.5.6
all went OK except the links to the images.
when I activate the links to the images and I go the links, it gives me a
"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
i am not quite sure what might be the cause.

After converting all the images from vbgamers gallery to MGallery.

I have removed all permission of members and other to post in gallery.

So all were started posting images and comments on MGallery.

But when i type my website on Google. I have the Gallery page on top which yield me many visits to old gallery.

So i have enable the view permission for Guest to visit gallery. Since i do not want them to show any error message.

Now i need to point all users who come to gallery to mgallery automatically.

Help me out.

tried it with SSI_theme but it didn't work maybe because the codes are of the earlier versions of smf

A.SK,   You can set a 301 redirect in your .htaccess file.

Darkness...    not easily.  The Gallery takes the user's theme from the main SMF.   It obviously CAN be done, but would require coding on your part.

I just changed the permissions of MGalleryItem.php to 755 and issue resolved.
