When the Forum Admins log in they are able to see the gallery link and able to view the gallery, But when the other memebers log on to the forum they are not seeing this and when i have checked the permissions, i cant see it installed and there is a block there as and no wording and not sure what is causing these issues

I suspect that either a) you are not using english or b) your theme (incorrectly) has its own copy of some of the language files.

Make sure that the language strings are correctly installed, per the manual installation instructions.

English as opposed to utf8.
You can change the language in Admin-Server Settings.

I just started receiving an error message today when attempting to view my profile (anyone elses profile)

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare mgallery() (previously declared in /forums/Sources/Profile.php:3091) in /forums/Sources/Profile.php on line 3115

Any ideas?

Using 1.1.8
Custom Theme

MGallery has been installed for about 3 days now, and this just recently happened.   No errors in error log.

On Profile.php there will be 2 declarations of mgallery function. Remove one of them.

@goodman854 - I still take that as an insult. And I never insulted you, I couldn't understand a thing you said because of those 3 totally valid reasons. And if it says it can't because of it not being chmodded to 777, then chmod it to 777? You still didn't tell us the exact error message you get.

Skargon

That worked, thanks.

For some reason, it looks like all the mgallery info that was put in the profile.php decided to duplicate itself.

Got rid of the duplicate of it all, and I can access the profiles again.  :D

Yes. Although I'm not sure everything is deleted -- items that's for sure, but permissions etc, I'm not so sure. Worth mentioning.
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Any notice for bitmap files?

Nao 尚

Not really. I try to stay away from that crappy file format as soon as possible.
Do yourself a favor and launch a batch conversion to PNG (or JPG). You'll save a lot of disk space.

New problem:
I've put 2 sub-album in one album with only 10files.
All is ok but from some strange reason now i can't see the 10images.
Wallpaper //10images
--otheralbum1 //more images
--otheralbum2 //more images
i've test to run maintenance ecc but without great results (and with more errors).
Now i've delete this Wallpaper album and i want test to import from localhost backup.
Is there any way to export an album from localhost (with comment and all data) and import in my site?
-
Ok, i've successfully imported manually from sql backup :)

Wow...a lot more action has been there than I expected, is this topic cursed or anything? :P. Thanks Kat and SlammedDime for keeping things under control.

Hm thats funny, can you link us to the album? What you are saying is that the 10 images under the albums suddenly disappeared?

Irfanview will do what you're looking for, and last I checked it was still free.  Batch conversion of BMP to JPG, which will save massive amounts of disk space.  The conversion must be done before you upload to Media Gallery.  Once you upload them as BMP you'll have to just delete those and upload the new JPG's.

I hate asking this again, but there seem to be quite a few non-support related posts ... would someone please clean up this topic again... and STAY ON TOPIC.
