First of all congratulations for this great mod... and sorry for my English level (I'm from Spain).

Is there a way to lock upload when needed on general Albums, so the users can view the items but no upload new ones?

I mean like a thread in a forum.
Everyone can post on it, but when the Admin/Moderator close it no one can add a single post while still can view its contents.

It's possible edit somewhere in SMG to do something like this?

I don't think it is possible without shutting down uploading on all general albums.

I've gone thru and tried as many different things as I can think of.
Still can't get this error to go away. Got to be something I am overlooking.

Ok i get a couple odd errors.

I have issues Uploading JPG and PNG files that are "too big" but not file size.....

I can take an image approx 1300 pixels [width or height) save it as a GIF and it uploads fine, Save it as a JPG and i get a 500 Internal server error. Same with a Png. I have my max width/height allowed at 2000. I found a happy medium around 1250 pixels.

the Odd part comes, I can take the Max allowed via settings (set at 2000 as stated above), and go to lets say 5000, and that same file with the same name and same size will Internal server error out. Put it back to 2000, and the file works fine.

I can Increase the saved quality of the JPG to increase the file size, and it uploads. But i change the width beyond 1250 and error 500.

I can, how ever, Upload Gif files of any size, MP3's of any size [to the set file size] and soo n so forth.

im not sure if this is my host, or the software. Any idea?

we too are suffering timeouts/freezing with upload, I contacted the host and they confirmed that they do not use mod_security.

Any other suggestions?

Hello,
i have installed the SMF 2.0 RC1-1 and the new SMF 1.5.6 when i upload a pic or embed a video i become a white page without error, just white page. and the video or the pic is not uploaded.

what ist wrong???

Since the error is coming from line 829, does that mean the album is being called from there?
and would that mean the correct line of code would be..

if (@$album['id_member'] != $current_owner) or...
if @ ($album['id_member'] != $current_owner) ,err...

I just don't have a clue what I'm doing here. Haha.

It simply means "don't tell me if there's an error."
It doesn't fix the error. It just ignores it.

I didn't change anything in SMG. I just reuploaded the three SMG converters earlier this morning because I was trying to compile a list of changes for SMG2 and I realized the SMG2 folder's converters weren't on the mod site (while they *should* have been, since they're not using SMG2 features at all.) I used the opportunity to click the boxes where needed, obviously.
