This is a simple fun theme. When scrolling, the buttons and links in the clouds will stay put, making it easy to navigate from anywhere within the site.

Thanks! BTW, the clouds are just a background image, as well as the footer, so it wouldn't be too hard if you don't want a cloudy theme

Even more wicked if you make it one theme, that is light on the day and dark on the night. (using PHP)

As for the auto-switch...... way above my head at this time. If someone knows the code, I'd be glad to give it a shot though.

Have a look at my Custom Greeting Depending on time mod. It does something similar.
You can use the same method to change stylesheet depending on time of the day. (Night/day)

I like to use solid bg's for fast load. I'm not sure how I could do (decent) stars without a large bg image.

It wouldn't have to be very big.
Also, if you make it, just have a transparent background on the image and add stars on it. That way you/users of the theme can change the bgcolor easily.
