I installed a fresh copy of SMF 2.0RC3 on a subdomain on my server, to give this a test run and whatnot. Just to see how it operates.

While I am impressed by what I've seen on other forums that have this feature, everything installs fine on my end, up until the installScript.php file part. whether it is either a manual install, or package manager install, I get the following error that appears.

This is what I get on that line. I opened up the file with Notepad++ to find the exact line. The image below, is of what is on that line.



Any assistance would be much appreciated.

something is wrong with this mod, when i installed this mod on SMF 2.0 RC2 every time i try to attack someone it always says "You do not got enough stanima, energy or health to make this attack"



how do i fix the problem?

@scenerip2k you just need togo into battle admin shop and add an item for stamina then buy it

i tried adding stamina under shop and it still says that i have the maximum stamina

oha i see it cos it is 0/0 run the attached insdtallscipr.php to update it that will put everybody stamina and max stamina to 100

okay the stamina is fixed now 100/100 the only thing i have problem with now is the energy 0/0 and  Attack: 1220/0

download the file i attached ealyer oopen it oin chnage stamina to energy and max_stamina to max_energy then reupload and run again

I ran a second check. It's claiming it is a database related error. However, since this is a fresh install, and the database is still new, I don't see what the problem is, nor why this error is happening.

I'll have to go back and check it again, to see exactly what's wrong. I'll get back to you, if I find the root of the problem.

It now started to work on it's own, and install properly. Looks like it fixed itself. Thanks for the help anyway.

How stable is this mod? I want to use it.

it is ok not saying it is bugless tho cos it is rc try it on a test forum or take a look at the demo on my dev site

I had it installed for over 5 months now, it's here: http://duke.xadro.net/index.php?action=battle
you have to be a member though.

Anyway, one of my friend had to fix many things like gold glitches (stop people from reloading and getting more gold) then there was a bug where you get more gold then the money (something like that), etc.
But, I think that was the old version but anyway, we fixed all the bugs in the old version (I'm pretty sure).

I'm trying to add custom monsters using my own images. I've already uploaded the .png images to the /battle/monsters directory for all themes. When I try to add the monster image the image does not appear.

Any help?

install it then post up the file Display.template.php   and i can do it for you ? the mod will still work woth out just it wont show stats in post profile
