i also have another suggestion at the moment you can use skins from longtailvideo but would it be possible to make settings so you can have different skins on different themes. no one skin looks good in all my themes

Thanks for comment. But I can't add skin selection option, because longtail don't allowed that. But i will make a documentation for this, also plugins.

maybe you could also add page for supported sites for mp3 and videos.
and switch for autoplay after page loads.

You can select autoplay for your admin CP. (Look at "Autostart ?" in profile song settings)

I will add list for post on this topic. When i release 1.0 (First Public) i will add documentacion on first post. And If you have smg, user can upload song from his user album and can select to "Add as Profile Song" in 1-2 week after

The songs that i add doesn't play. I get error #2032. When i click play the button changes to a pause button but then goes back to a play button after a short second.

i have the exact same problem and i know why its happening... but not precisely why.

i had the old smg installed when i first downloaded this mod and it worked PERFECTLY however i then noticed that smg had an update so i ran it suddenly profile songs stopped working.

i uninstalled gallery and it worked fine after a little frustrating messing around i went to check that songs were working in the smg and noticed oh look it now has the exact same player as the profile songs one.

it always used jw player but an old version, now both mods use the same version of jw player you can only get one to work at a time, if you have the old version of smg and therefor the old version jw you can run both mods.

however the new smg is awesome and i dont want to give it up for profile songs.

but im sure someone with actual knowledge beyond mine can find a way to make it work probably an adjustment to the actual mod as obviously the smg add profile song thing would be pointless if you cant have both mods.

at the moment i have left both mods installed i was hoping that the smg support when its done would fix the problem to be honest with you i'd much prefer to have people use tracks from smg then external mp3 links anyway... it fits in better with my type of site.

Can you give the ex. profile url for your forum.? Problem is swfobject i guess. But i need more details and demos. Maybe you ask this on smg topic too. I don't have much time this week. Maybe dragoon or Nao can help on this issue.

And what are you using url ? Can you give that url to me ?

ok so you are correct it works fine indeed... which had me baffled for about all of 5 seconds until i realised that it works fine for all extrenal links mp3's from somebody elses website are playing just fine. anything hosted at my own doesnt though but will play through other means so its not the files.

again i have no idea what that actually means.

i guess i'll just have to live with the fact that i can't use mp3's that are hosted at the same site as my forum and wait for the smg support which in itself is far better then simply linking to external files anyway for my users.

Hi, I've been trying to install this on version 1.1.10 but receive the following error when trying to view profile:

Not sure what the problem could be.

I have installed this and set a profile mp3 that is a confirmed link but I do not see anything on the profile when viewed by myself or a test member.

The SMF version is 2.0 RC 1.2, hosted site, PHP 5, Linux. I have an alternate theme (Pixel Perfect v1) I installed version 0.8.1.

Other Mods installed:

Personal Messages to Membergroups    1.2
Custom Page With Tab Button    1.2
HTTP Only Cookie Flag    1.0

Nothing shows in the Admin error logs section.

Are you sure to enable profile songs in admin panel ?
