Simple Audio Video Embedder

Hi!

During an update, remove the old package.

Example: update 3.4 to 3.5
After upgrade, delete the package version 3.4 in /packages/ folder.

I've installed your mod, but none of the embed videos doesn't seem to work. I only need Vine one to work and I tried both Vine and Youtube with http and with https...also couple of different Vine and Youtube links, none of them worked. Mod installed without any errors or problems..I'm using SMF 2.0.9

Thanks that is very helpful odd that just adding an existing folder can cause that to occur.

Yep I checked...also I erased cache lines from .xml and cache folder but same thing happens...

What video links are you trying to embed?

I'm also having problems with Facebook links.

Just upgraded to 3.5a, also uninstalled and reinstalled....  old FB links work, but the new one will not, just a link to the video appears.

You can see that YT works here, and the old FB links too...

Have checked the points you have just posted about, made no difference.... but, not checked/cleared the cache.

When you install make sure you check the new Facebook v4 link option under settings

What video links are you trying to embed?

Already have that checked, I'm trying with Vine and Youtube.

I have other mode for Youtube that is working fine, installed this one only because Vine embeding.

For Facebook videos, rightclick video and click Show video URL. Use this.

Why bother? There's a converter with this one if I am remembering right and if not it's simple enough to remove the BBC tags if the other one used it. I would just stick with the one that serves you best .
