So far, I'm very impressed with RC2, and I love the new default theme!

I miss a topic dedicated to Core in the Themes child board though. I know it's different than all the custom themes like Helios Multi, SMFone, etc since it comes packed with the install, but I still think it would be nice to have one place for questions and comments about the theme, as opposed to flooding the support boards with a new topic for every little issue :)

A new release? OK that's cool. But where can I download it???

The latest release I see in DOWNLOADS is for July 13, 2005.  ???

Those who say that something cannot be done should get out of the way of those who are willing to try.

That sounds like you're trying to install the 1.0.5 package on a 1.1 install?

To add to my question above I have entered the data base using PHP my admin and It shows I have a field called Pm_ignore_list but not one called Im_ignore_list so where is the upgrade getting the idea it is im_   ???

Hope someone can help as I can not access my forums now.

hey pal you are the dogs!!  :)  How the hell did you know that??

You are bang on anyway.  just one questions why is the new release not on the top of the down load page for numpties like me??  :-\

Grudge

We put the "stable" release at the top, so anyone who just pops to the download page by default will get a version with no bugs in it :)

Well you helped me out no end but I am sorry to say I think I may have now found a bug  :(

I now get this when trying to access news and newsletters.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare template_edit_news() (previously declared in /home/rally/public_html/forum/Sources/Load.php(1607) : eval()'d code:351) in /home/rally/public_html/forum/Sources/Load.php(1607) : eval()'d code on line 5

Make sure that you overwrote all of the Source files.  I just tested this out and I did not get any errors.

The upgrade on my test site, which is locally on my computer (using XPs Inetpub), went wonderfully.

But when I tried to upgrade to my one line site (running on a unix type system), by running upgrade.php, I get:

The upgrader found some old or outdated files.

Please make certain you uploaded the new versions of all the files included in the package.

Make sure that all file got overwritten including index.php.

I have re uploaded the upgrade and run upgrade again .  I have checked the file versions and I get this error.  I think it may have a bearing on  what is happening.  Is this possible?

Questions.....

I am on a 1.0.5 Forum.  I have a bunch of mods and a custom theme(Which I am not to concerned with).  But my questions are:

1) What will I lose when I upgrade from 1.0.5 to the new 1.1 rc2
2) What kind of time frame should I be expecting to upgrade it?

(I have such things as the shop, arcade, chat, and a few of the "info center" (which I see are automatically in this package) as some of the mods.  How will the stats and tokens and overall mods be effected on my board?)

Purplemadness

I uploaded everything, but he says that he found outdated files ???

Fantastic upgrade, absolutely lurvvve the new default theme ;D

Sexy or what ;D ;D

We've upgraded and it's working with MK Portal with no problems.

Brilliant work guys, you deserve a pat on the back and so much more ;D ;D

Grudge

If it says it has outdated files that means index.php in the root of your forum folder has not been uploaded.

Instead of taking me to the newest post, it takes me to the topic itself.

Does this need some modification?

yup, my members are reporting the same.
