Hello, i want to manually install admod (Ad Management mod) on my theme (Black14k) but i do not know how to since the install.xml file says:

Hi guys,
       I am new to SMF, i like this mod, just want to know if anyone integrated this mod to Orange T theme.. http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=155 . Please send me files if any one already added this mod to orange theme.

The orange-LT theme files I have modified and they can be found here:

CLICK

These are NOT modification packages, unzip and replace the template files in your theme with the ones in the .zip file. DO NOT overwrite the original template files as you may need them.

@ smartmouse: Will it not install through the package manager. ??? Why would you do it manually. All the edits can be found stickied to the "Theme Support" board at www.smfads.com

I try to save all the template files I edit, hence the list. There should be more to come eventually. :)

I have to install it manually because i have already installed it on Default theme and now i have to edit the files of the theme that i'm using.
Anyway thank you for your reply, i opened a new topic on admod forum ;)

Using Ad Management v2.3 with SMF v1.1.3 and TinyPortal v0.9.8. I'm going for top and bottom horizontal ad bars and one Skyscraper on one side. The mod very well (VERY) except for one (little) thing that didn't work for me. The Skyscraper ads show up in a new sidebar outside the existing sidebars which for me gave me 3 side bars and shrinks the content down too much. (Easy Work around was to use  Ad Management only for the top and bottom and just create a script box in the existing sidebar for those ads which keeps the sidebars to two.) - Like I said that was minor. The permissions and control of who sees what on which pages is excellent. Overall so I have to give Ad Management v2.3 mod a rating of "awesome"!

Hi I am trying to do the smf package parser for the adds mod, I have installed the mod and I am trying to edit the code which the parser is telling me to do

In file Themes/[your theme]/BoardIndex.template.php, it tells me to find

will this work with SMF 1.1.3?

Ive tried to install it, but seems wont work. I cant see any Ad mod underneath the Configuration. I need help!

It only installs on the default theme. If you need help, go here: http://www.smfads.com theres a wealth of information there to help you out.

i added it to custom theme, but one problem. Only me the admin can see the ads, no guests or other users.

EDIT, i just notices only i can see the ads, even on the default theme

Hi concerning my question on the parsing once the mod is installed, does anyone know what i do, when it says (find the bit of code and repalce with this code) but the piece of code is not in the template that it is telling you to find I Have looked the mod thread and cant find any answers, could some please help me out on this

HI I have installed the add package and replaced the 3 templates with the script change for my theme, which i downloaded, I have set the add to show at the top of the forum index, But the add is showing twice right under each other,at the top of the forum, Its repeating itself and i only have one add, It also wont show at the bottom of the page, I can only seem to get it to work at the top of the page, Does anybody know how to fix this please

OK thanks I have sorted it now, I must have installed the add mod twice as the script was duplicated on the BoardIndex.template.php
