I editted only the errors it gave during installation.

What do you think i should edit exactly? Because it doesnt show any ads except one banner on boards page.

I'd like to see the possibilty to check which usergroups can see the ads in which boards ... thinking about guests which i'd like to show more ads ...

I have that in Ad Seller Pro yeah i generally use the is_guest mod statement to show more ads to guests then members.

During the installation, only the MessageIndex.template.php
but it doesnt show any ads (home page, or anything except one banner on top of boards page)

I dont understand how come it doesnt fail on index.template.php and home page php file but it still doesnt show the ads.

What kind of ads do you have setup? Do you have them enabled in what locations?

I actually just took care of it and found out that i should click on the checkbox for my theme when i INSTALL A MOD

When I set ads to display at the bottom of the page, it "breaks" the layout like this:

Any idea why? It happens in IE 8, and Safari.

just upgraded to SMF 2.0 and installed your Ad management mod 3.0.1.
Template default.

The needed link for the mod is not showing in Configuration; I also checked elsewhere, to no avail.
I must be missing something obvious.

Can anyone help, please?

I just installed SMF and Ad Management 3.0.1.   Everything works except users with Chrome - when they try to click the login button, it automatically goes to the link that is associated with the ad that is currently showing.  Great for sponsors, not so good for users trying to use my board.

I just deleted my post in the time you took to reply.  I found my error (I had been staring at for a week).  I forgot to close the link tag in the html, but for some reason all the other browsers ignored it.  Chrome decided to turn the rest of the page into one giant link though.

Copy the text in themes/default/languages/modifications.english.php  to themes/yourtheme/languages/modifications.english.php

Then clear your cache in SMF 2.0 forum maintenance.

Did what you suggested, the problem persists.

In any case, the modificstions.english.php is empty (apart from <?php  // Version: 2.0; Modifications ?>) and the theme used is the default one.

Some additional detail, maybe it will help:
I installed the Paypaldonations mod as well, it doesnt show anywhere either.

What the hack is wrong, I wonder.

Thanks for the mod, I just discovered that guests are not seeing any ads, at all *figures out why impressions were less than page views*


I am using SMF 2.0 latest, the theme is called "The Killing".

Any Ideas?
