Having problems installing it.  Can someone give me a skinny on a manual install.  Error I am receiving is :  php cant handle a type of file
Trying to install : Award Mod and Karma Blocks Package V.04
Have smf 1.1.1 installed.

Also get this cryptic message..
Type Action Description
1. Execute Modification modification.xml Modification parse error
2. Execute Modification - Modification parse error

I'm looking to be able to add a link to the awards mod to show which awards i have installed into my forum board.

Is there anyway to get a page to display them?

you can view some of the awards i have on my board at this URL http://artificialintelligence.the-aria.net/board/index.php?action=profile;sa=awards;u=2

But i want to be able to display them all in there own little page to members are able to apply for these medals or just read what they are for.

Hiya, I have a problem when I install this mod.  I have 2 forums both 1.1.2 and if I install on one (with a custom theme) it works fine.  If I install it on the other (with the normal classic yabb theme) the mod installs correctly but all the links and add an award buttons don't show there are just gaps and spaces where the links should be! How odd! Any ideas?  Thanks.

I think the mod only installs on the default theme, so basically u need to treat the classic theme as a custom theme and modify the appropriate files as indicated in the install file.  Good Luck.

I have installed the  " Award 11-1 Mod" and it works perfect..It gives me two fields in the Profile where I name the award and the award........I have a small database with 240 registered users

Where can I find out exactly who I gave these awards to?  These awards will change every month......I forgot who got them!!!!!

regards
Ron

Hi There ,

Is it possible to make it so the award only displays in a particular board?

i.e. I only have 1 board in which these will be handed out and I would like to only have the awards field displayed on posts in that board.

You appear to have the mod installed more than once...check the files it alters for duplicate entries.
