I've successfully installed the Aeva Media 1.0 mod but for some reason every time i post a picture it thinks i posted it on Dec 19, 2006  ....any ideas how i can fix this?

Baloch: another route is possible (as alternative to verifying manually files). Please install this mod: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2054 and check the box in Admin interface, to "disable eval". Then, please do refresh the view on your forum as you described above, until you get the error. This time the error should be slightly different. Post that new error here, for us to see.
(it should list the file which has a problem)

I installed "disable eval mod now here is the error:

Baloch: Can you please tell, did you check the template files in your dilbermc theme?
Please try verifying the index.template.php file from Themes/dilbermc/ as well as the other template files from Themes/dilbermc that may have been edited to work for any mod like SMG or Aeva, and undo the edits done in them.
You can find the edits on the same Aeva page with instructions: for all files edits listed under Themes/default, please do check if they are also made in your Themes/dilbermc files, and undo them just the same.

What do you mean?
.php files don't need to have shebang mark in their first line, if by any chance this is what you mean. (please correct my understanding if wrong). .php files are not executed like shell scripts, they are executed by an engine loaded by a web server.

I don't have to beg for your forgiveness... There's nothing wrong in not looking for other CMSes, when you're happy with SMF. (Which I'm not anymore, but it's due to team decisions rather than the software itself.)

And I was pulling your leg. Actually I never liked Xoops, but I liked one of its forks, eXoops, which I tried using at some point in 2004 or 2005. It had some Ajax stuff and I was much in awe when seeing Ajax code at the time. It wasn't as natural as it is now.
Still, I dropped it in favor of some other CMSes, which I then dropped in favor of an all-SMF solution.

since you might be new to cms's, but you should try it out if you get a chance and keep an eye on it...it's been dormant for a while..but the project is gaining speed nowadays.
