Get the non-html code if the html code doesn't work.
Both should work, though...

A week ago, I called for people to test the feature so that I could fix it in case it's not supported in other countries. It works perfectly for all users in France. It's not my fault if no one replied to my request. :-\
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Aeva Media rocks your life.

YogiBear

How does dozy here switch on Google Maps? I've ticked Google Videos in the Sitelist but no sign of Google Maps.

Agreed. Wish I had seen that request. I would have jumped on it because maps are an important factor of my site.

I tried the link itself and this is what I get ( html and the link both show up instead of the map ~ am I grabbing the wrong code?):

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Brettuns+Pond,+Livermore,+Maine&sll=44.387844,-70.254502&sspn=0.007897,0.019205&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Brettuns+Pond+Seaplane+Base,+Livermore,+Androscoggin,+Maine+04253&t=h&z=16

Yogi, in the sitelist, it's near the bottom under "Other Sites" .... if you don't see it, uninstall, delete, download again, upload and reinstall. You'll see it.

Thanks, Guys. Yep, that did the trick, Snowy. :)

Nao: Just trying to understand the HTML mention in your changelog.

Are you saying that with HTML posting disabled for regular members, your mod allows people to post HTML embed code for any site that is enabled in the sitelist?

LHW

Snowy

LHW, I copied the first code, the link, and this is how it is displayed on my forum.... I'm missing something:

e class="aext" width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=morganton,+nc&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=36.042042,79.013672&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Morganton,+Burke,+North+Carolina&t=h&z=13&output=embed">
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=morganton,+nc&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=36.042042,79.013672&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Morganton,+Burke,+North+Carolina&t=h&z=13

I tried my own and put just the link in my message and this is how it displays (the very last line with the zip code and Google Maps is a link on my forum\):

e class="aext" width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=04253&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=35.821085,78.662109&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Livermore,+Androscoggin,+Maine+04253&ll=44.407788,-70.20813&spn=0.252619,0.614548&t=h&z=11&output=embed">

I was informed that this is the place to post this question..

I need help finding out where I can change this setting in the Media Gallery.
I am using SMF Media Gallery 2.0.5 and AEVA 5.2.56

I have not been able to find anything related to the repeat code in any fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks to the great people who created this software! Nuke sux - SMF rulez!

back on the FFmpeg question, there is a test file that comes with it to see if it is working. There should be a folder with tests/test_media/16Hz-20kHz-Exp-1f-5sec.mp3 and robot.avi which will allow you to check to make sure it is working right. Mine is installed on Linux CentOS but it was a pain to get it to install and I know I had to fight with it last year

@Snowy> Wouldn't this be a conflict with another mod, instead...? Your code is okay, but it doesn't have the opening code...

I probably should have put it into the 'Popular' section instead, given that it IS a popular site indeed... I'll do it for the next update.

No...
It's just like 'Flash' or 'WMP', etc... It just indicates what plugin to use. Well, 'html' means "Don't use a plugin -- everything is in the pattern". This makes it possible to make a "passthrough" for your own whitelisted HTML embeds -- ie if you want to accept anything within a specific site, you take the embed code they provide, you copy it in a loose manner (many .* regex), and you reproduce the same thing in the 'movie' code. Done.
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

I might have found the cause of it. Whilst navigating around the map the Screenshot Dumpster mod window sprang up.

Edit : Interesting, so far this has only happened when Previewing the post.

These are the mods I'm running (packages 5 and 6 are not installed/running):

1. Aeva Media 1.3 [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
2. Yarex 2 smiley set 2.0.0.1 [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
3. Birthday Posts 0.12.1 Beta [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
4. SimplePortal 2.3.1 [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
5. Team Page 3.2 [ Install Mod ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
6. Advanced Recent Posts 1.1 [ Install Mod ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
7. Global Headers Footers 2.0 [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]

The above was using just a link... the http://www.blah.etc

When I get a map on Google, I click on the link option, then under the
"Paste HTML to embed in website"
You see the html code and under that you can click
"Customize and preview embedded map"
I click on that, copy the html code and paste it in my reply box on my forum.

This is what it looks like:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=04253&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=35.821085,78.662109&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Livermore, Androscoggin, Maine 04253&t=h&z=11&ll=44.40783,-70.208118&output=embed

And this is the code:

What does that mean? Sorry. I'm still pretty green. I don't mean to get on anyone's nerves by being stupid.

mightygiants

What I did was download the really old version that is still available and pulled the needed file from there. I put it in the folder you guys mentioned and the error went away.

YogiBear

Do you have the Screenshot Dumpster mod installed, Snowy? (it's an integrated picture posting mod).

When using the html code I get two pictures of the map with some code also showing. OK, so I can use the URL but just curious.

No, I don't have that mod. I edited my above post and listed my mods there.

YogiBear

The Screenshot Dumpster window popped up when I used 'View most recent posts', and not Preview, then scrolled around the map (sorry about that).

hi, it's possible autoalbum on attachment file on the post?

many users don't use gallery for post pic , but advanced function for post

if attachment in automatic post on default album on aeva media it would be great, with a general place with for all pic of every topic when its become old

i hope to explain good, sorry for my bad english

Sea Mac

Which Version of Aeva to use for SMF 1.1.11? I'll uninstall Aeva 1.2 from my forum (video embedding doesn't work now).

Do I re-install 1.1b, or clean install 1.3?

Thank you Nao! This MOD rocks! (#1 MOD for a while now!)

It's a feature in the Foxy! add-on...

@Sea Mac> Actually, has been #1 for about 2 years in a row... Although it used to be for wrong reasons (i.e. automatic sitelist updates taken from mod page and rising stats for no special reason... Now it's no longer doing that.)
