I vote for complete removal of the SMF manual and help pages. Will be in line with the project manager's habits, plus it will teach those kids a lesson!

Yeah I'm all for it! Docs and manuals would always be updated and the package would reduce its size!!

I was only joking... I discussed the possibility of removing all of these files at least twice (including as recently as a few weeks ago), and got a definitive "no" from the team both times, so it's... well, definitely no.

I don't think it's a fool idea at all.... if you are viewing the help on your site you HAVE internet, so it's the same if you're on sm.org or on you're site! It's not necessary to have the manual offline!

e.g. using the same theme and language as on the site, without having to resort to hacks (such as linking to http://simplemachines.org/help/?language=mycurrentlanguage;theme=mycurrentthemeifyouhaveitinyourstockthankyouverymuch)

I have created an albulm as admin that I would like for all guests and members to be able to view but I only want one member to be able to add or remove pictures.

One way would be to create another membergroup based off Regular Members, give it a title which looks similar so as not to draw attention, then add the permission you want to it.

You can attribute "hidden" membergroups to users, no need to have a dummy name for them...
