j'ai posté 5 message et j'ai eu aucune réponse concrètes, il y a quand même de quoi montrer sont mécontentement quand même..
Si vous me donniez la fameuse option a désactiver dans les options du mod pour enfin avoir les vidéos d'afficher dans les sujets comme avant, car moi je ne la trouve pas et de plus je ne les jamais activer ou désactiver...

Don't waste your time (and mine) bumping a question. If I didn't answer, it's because I didn't deem it worthy. You didn't configure AeMe correctly is all.

This makes me sad, that I'm not worthy.  Bad way to start the day

I really wanted to use your mod, as it seemed great, but even after what seemed to be a perfect installation, I still got those error messages.  I've been over the install about a hundred times, searched my heart out, and still can't figure out what I did wrong.  Posting a question about the error messages here doesn't mean I want to waste your time...but it's really frustrating to think you did everything right and still got it wrong.

Sorry for the intrustion.  I think I'll just uninstall completely and forget about it   Hope your day gets a little better.

I don't think Nao was referring to you or your problem. Sometimes it is just asking too much to answer all question here. Sometimes some questions are just unintentionally overlooked.  Just be patient or ask the question again (but avoid bumping!). There may be others who may be able to help too

It sure seemed like it, he said if he didn't answer then it wasn't worthy.  Granted, I didn't expect an answer in 2-3 days, but there were answers for others, so it sure seemed like he was saying if he hadn't answered yet, then it's not worth his time

Aeva Media est gratuit, et je prends sur mon temps (et les autres aussi !) pour aider au support... ¬_¬

Ca peut être un peu de tout... Faudrait que je voie ça en action, et que j'aie accès à l'admin. Problème : j'ai clairement pas envie d'aider quelqu'un qui se plaint comme ça... -_-

I have had this media mod installed for 3 months now and I have 3000 small pics.  Why is the file so big! its 2gigs! the original files were only 50mb total! My hosting people are going crazy

I have the "can't create albums" problem too!
I already did the following:
- I chmoded mgal_data and mgal_data/albums to 777 and then to 755
- The owner and group are the same as for all the files of the site
- phpinfo says that safe_mode is Off (Local Value) and On (Master Value), I am not sure about the difference, even after reading some relevant pages on the net. My php.ini says "safe_mode=off", and I have not set up any relevant .htaccess files

Any ideas?

A possibility...

cPanel > File Manager > Click "Go" > public_html > forums > Packages > backups

Delete any which are now redundant.

If this isn't the case, ask your host to take a look their end as they'd be able to see what's going on and advise what to do.

I have the opposite problem.
I did a search and can't find the answer.
Can someone tell me how to make a php.ini, and tell me exactly where it goes.
I have a folder named cgi-bin and it has a php.ini in it, and I increased the upload limit, but when we try to upload a vid larger than 7MB it says there is a 7MB limit.
Can somebody tell me exactly what I need to do to increase the limit?

Opposite eh? I cant say, but I had a similar problem that screwed up my site.  I uninstalled then reinstalled.
(nice bug sig! lol I was touching my screen trying to squish it)

I want to allow 1 regular user to be able to add/edit/delete pictures to an album.

I have created a new group and added that member to the group.

However the only way I can figure out to let him add/edit/delete pictures from an album is to allow him to administrate the whole gallery. That I do not want to do.

Can someone please tell me how to accomplish such a simple task?

How do you delete a picture from an album? Something so simple how in the world do you do it?


I can add a picture but I cant see a way to remove a picture from an album.

When creating or editing an album there is a field (about half-way down the page) in which you can add a member's name so they can edit the album.

How do you delete a picture from an album?

Aeva Admin > Album > Edit > tick the box (top left of the pic) then choose delete.
