Okay, I must be going nuts here. I've tried every which way to get this mod to install. I'm running 1.1.11 with all the upgrades. When I try the package installer, it just takes me to a blank screen and does nothing. So I manually installed all of the code and if I try to run install.php it tries to open index.php. I've checked my database and all of the tables are created, I'm not getting any errors on the forum from the code I added, but yet I'm not getting any menu options for the ads. I'm new at this and I've searched every which way on this thread, so short of reading all 272 pages... Help? Thanks.

ouch!    sorry.. i thought i'd just ask instead of going through the whole 277 pages.. but thanks for the tip on something is different.    hopefully  i can find how to put it in manually.

anyways... sorry to upset you.

Don't worry about that, I hate when people just say that all the time.. (thy could at least find the post(s) themselves and put a link, if its so "easy")

Just go to the mod site where you downloaded the mod, then click parse, now look at the tests that failed, and those edits you will have to do manually, in the find part, look for a "similar" code, because obviously the mod packager could not find it so your not either, it will be a partial part of if, check to make sure that's the only instance of the partial code you searched for, once it is you can do the operation manually, whether that be add after, add before, or replace.
thanks.... did it,.. and seems to be working perfect.      thanks again.

Can someone give me a hand installing this. I am using one Crips Templates and it looks nothing like the code edits that are posted.

Thanks

Hi there,

I've installed Ad Management for my 2.0 RC3 forum and I've added a google ad sense banner at the top of every page. However on the home page/index, the banner is under the forum statistics at the top, they overlap, but on everyother page, it is fine because there is no writting at the top.

Pictures to help you see what I mean:

http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/1046/39597743.jpg

So how can I make it so that there is space between the forum statistics at the top and the banner. I want both there, just that I don't want them overlapping.

^^ Any help  :-\ ??

after your ad code, add a few;

<br />

to the end of the ad, it should move anything below it down.

I already tried asking, so I'm just copying.  This is on the default theme, 2.0 RC3.

I know I'm probably going to get told to post on their 'official thread', but they never seem to help out.  What I'm trying to fix is, when I put on up on the right-hand side (or left), it will cause problems with the images, shoutbox, code boxes, etc. due to their size trying to take 100% rather than what is left.  I know how to resize all of that, but it's not what I'd like to do.  Is there a way to use this, or make my own sidebar, that won't cause the problems?  I would like the code boxes and what-not to resize with the forums still, and the sidebar's width can change at any time, meaning I would have to change every px# after everything I add, or just have them really small.

It works fine on the index, searching for threads, but within the threads there's a lot that will screw with it, and on the index the only thing that messes it up is the shoutbox when someone types a message that goes past the edge.  What it seems to be doing with the shoutbox and codebox is preventing the words from going down to the next line, so they will just continue on and push the sidebar way off the screen, and stretch the forums over there as well.

Thanks for any help.

Use the same ad form to add all those ads, they should get stacked one below the other by default

here it is, thank you

A lot of your subs.php file is missing, I will work on it, if you have not installed any mods, I suggest a new subs.php file, if this is the only mod you have installed, I suggest the same with the manual edits to this file for this mod.

I have added the missing part at the end of the file, however, if you had mods which made edits after that part, you will have some issues with them, this should get your forum going though
