In your profile, under the "Media" menu option if you click "Summary" it will bring up a page that shows a link to all of their albums.

The paid version gets more support, and has more features. You should be able to see the public topic at http://aeva.noisen.com/5354/aeva-media-2-04-commercial-version/ about it. You would be advised to read all the topics in that board, though and draw your own conclusions as to the current and future state of Aeva Media.

I just wanted to know what new databases tables (if any) does the aeva lite version add to SMF 1.1.12?

I am using Aeva Media and i want to get rid of it and its extra tables, as i don't use the gallery system. I just need the auto-embedder feature.

Should i delete all the existing Aeva Media tables and then install the Aeva Lite? What tables to keep so as not to lose my settings for the posts which are already using the Aeva Media auto-embedder feature?

Best thing to do is take a glance at the auto embedder's installer, but if it does use any tables, it'll just be smf_aeva_settings looking at it.

The information below is outdated. I am no longer integrating new websites as of May 5, 2009. I will only be updating existing embeds, removing sites if they're broken or change their embedding policies, and adding new sites if they are really relevant to everyone, and have a really excellent Alexa rank (under 200).

- Submit only one website per topic. Put the site's URL in the subject. Don't put [To do] in the subject, I do it myself. Don't choose a message icon either.

- Before submitting, make sure it is a relatively popular website. I may integrate websites that cater to a specific "niche", and thus appeal to a handful of people only, but only if they look really professional and they really add something to the web.

- You can check out the popularity of a website by adding its domain name to this URL:

As you can see, this very website, which is still in "beta" mode and quite experimental (basically, only my friends and I are used to posting on it), has an Alexa rating of about 1,500,000, as of January 15, 2009. As much as I like my own website, I wouldn't think of integrating its own multimedia services into Aeva. So, if I don't do it for my own websites, why should I do it for even more obscure ones?

This should be the main guideline for you. A rating under 10,000 pretty much guarantees integration, while under 100,000 will earn my consideration, and 500,000 still has a decent shot for niche targets (this represents about 2,000 visitors a day according to my personal experience.)
Above one million, please make sure you know what you're asking for. There's very little chance it will be integrated. "There can be only one." (Or a thousand, at most.)

- Use the local embedding options to make your own website's videos embed for you. Please DON'T ask me to add support for your own website to Aeva. Except maybe for pretty girls willing to go to great lengths for that. Okay, kidding.

- Now that you're sure you will ask for integration, make sure to post at least a couple of direct URLs to viewable files. They should be as "generic" as possible, and represent different possible variations if there are any. If the website doesn't offer direct links on its homepage and you don't provide any either, the request will be dropped.

- Please post some embed code if you can. Enclose it inside [code] tags. (This is not mandatory. Just good practice.)

In short, I don't see Aeva Lite supporting it at all, at least without the above. Even if it IS provided, I can't honestly believe it'll go into Aeva Lite unless the sitelist is updated and given how things went down, that seems somewhat unlikely. It's not like Aeva is receiving active development at the moment (except to move it away from being tied directly to SMF)

I have looked and done a search but cant find an answer, basically my site is corrupt after an upgrade and so I am going to do a new install of smf, what do I need to copy across or do to keep members photos and gallery's.

Thanks for fast reply Arantor, I notice that I also have a directory called gallery with folders inside called 0, catrimgs, fonts, ftp import in the top level directory, what are these for!

Guys I'm trying to have a particular amount (if it can be set) of recent images to display on my index page via a Tiny Portal php block which scrolls (marquees). I'm pretty sure it's possible as I saw the on this post which doesn't seem to be working on my site though. So I figured that code is probably for a different version of SMF/Aeva. I was wondering if anyone will be kind enough to help me. My site runs on SMF RC3
